They told me I dont qualify beacause my loan is over 105 LTV. I live in California and it is rare for anyone to be under 105%ltv. doesnt that disqualify the magority of americans? Most loans were 80-20 Someon please tell me if that true? Thank You |

Making Home Affordable - Obama Administration to Launch National Outreach Campaign in Support of Making Home Affordable Program Ugh_2009 is correct that there is no limit if you are seeking a modification. |

They did this to me several times in one day. I was lucky enough to find a CSR who was able to track all of my calls and he confirmed that every time I had called they had transferred me to the refinance dept. You need to call and ask for the Home Retention Department. Tell them that the ONLY program you are interested in is the Making Home Affordable loan Modification program. Keep calling until you get someone who knows what you are asking for. They should provide you with a fax number and a list of documentation to send in. You should also contact Hope and/or NACA. The more people you contact the better. I even went as far as to file a formal complaint with Fannie Mae against B of A. It wasn't long after that I received my mod package. Do you know who your lender is? |

I think this is all part of some hazing ritual that each new caller must be subjected to before being offered anything tangible. First, you have to talk to the reps in a foreign call center, then once you've broken through that barrier, you get the reps in the US call center but never the department you actually wish to speak with. They must have a flowchart somewhere with all of this on it to try and confuse and aggravate enough callers in hopes they will stop calling and just give up! |

When I started getting on here in February, there didn't seem to be this problem but I think there are more and more people out there needing help and finding it on this site. |
