If I was approved why didnt I get approval email with details on Mod?

I was told my David L that I was approved for a mod on July 1...today he called and said I need to get NACA to review the details with me and make a decision to accept or deny the mod..problem is NACA will not give me the details...Should it take this long..I know they are busy but time is ticking away on my mod..

Usually the lender will make an offer and NACA wil come back to the homeowner to see if the offer is acceptable or not. I'm not exactly sure why they cannot go over the details with you yet, but don't give up keep trying until you get the info you need.

I also was approved per David L, he told me to contact NACA and ask about it. I called numerous times only to be told we cant see the details, or we will email your negociator and see... after two weeks of this, i got fed up/worried/stressed etc, and emailed service@naca.com, memberservices@naca.com, and told them that david l told me he had sent a proposal two weeks ago and that i had not received any appoval email. the very next day, i had an approval email from naca, from carrie crawford, aying she had approved their offer, and to wait for the docs. so basically she had that email for two weeks, if i didnt email naca, it would have sat there alot longer, i know she is busy, but you have to keep on top of it, or it will gather dust

HereinNY, trying email like suggested. Mention David L said they have your proposal. This happend to us as well. NACA had it for a while and when I emailed, we received an email with the details and asking if we will accept the proposal a few days later. Maybe ask for a supervisor if you call NACA??

I am having the same problem. Today I called NACA and the rep said that he sees I received an offer from bofA a month ago. He said i have to wait to here from the NACA negotiator and he wasn't able to give me any details on the offer. He told me he would email the negotiator and to call back in 2 weeks. I was told the same last week. I asked to speak to the supervisor and he said he could have them call me. Haven't heard from the supervisor yet. I emailed as mentioned above and waiting to hear an answer

We never got an email from NACA, CW/BOA or anyone for that matter! I only got the call from DavidL telling me the MOD was approved and I should contact NACA for details. We called NACA several times before getting someone who did at least give us what the interest rate was.

We called NACA every day for almost 3 weeks before someone with half a clue was able to figure out that NACA had to respond back to CW/BOA that we would accept the MOD. Once NACA responded we recieved the DOCS within a couple days.

If you are waiting for your DOCS I would highly recommend calling NACA as much as possible until you get action! NACA needs to accept the MOD before CW?BOA sends out the DOCS!

A similiar situation happened to us. We never received the email. It was supposedly sent on May 22nd. I finally got the offer yesterday!!!

After canoodling a NACA rep into resending the email----no one even let us know that there had been an email before that. Problem is the new payment was supposed to start July 1st! Now we don't know what will happen, we contacted everyone and we are keeping our fingers crossed.

Anyone else have this happen? Just stay on top of NACA and ask the reps all sorts of questions--like 'can you resend that email while one the phone with me?" They are just so overwhelmed.....

The exact same thing happened to me with a 7/1/09 start date. I e-mailed my BOA and NACA negotiator to get the ball rolling again and now I was told the documents are in the mail. It will be interesting to see when the new start date is and if there is a change in terms.

I'm sorry this happened to you, too. But at least we know we are not alone! I don't know how to get in touch with my BofA negotiator--I'll pursue that route, too.

Our NACA counselor even gave us his cell so that we can be in touch quickly....so hopefully that means things are moving forward.

We started back in October, hope this ends soon.

I was told that Carrie C. was my negotiator but I have not heard a peep from her. Do you have her e-mail? I was approved for a forbearance. But, I still want naca to negotiate their mod for me.
