Recieved a package from B of A yesterday I had faxed my papers 6 weeks ago. Everytime I check, I have not been assigned a negotiator. How long is this going to take to get to negotiations? I will be 1 mth late today if not paid today. I had to take a 50% pay cut. Thanks.

Re: I am trying to get a Mod. from CW. I'm not sure if faxing over everything to them really matters. They held on to our paperwork for weeks and finally sent us a mod that raised our payment and never assigned us a negotiator. I would keep on calling and trying. I don't think they automatically assign anyone a negotiator. Hope this helps. Maybe someone could give more input if they are more familiar with the process...?

Re: I am trying to get a Mod. from CW. I have been waiting for 5 months and I am still "under review" at this rate I could be waiting for another 5. It is incredibly frustrating. No one knows how much longer when you ask them. They tell you to call back next week and that it could take 6 more weeks (every single time). I am already 3 months (going on 4 tomorrow) behind. I wish I could offer advice but I don't have any to give. But I just wanted to let you know that it could take much longer.

Re: I am trying to get a Mod. from CW. It took me 4 months to get an actual modification package from CW. Too bad it was ridiculous and I had to call them and inform them it was not acceptable!! Then they sent 2 more w/in a week that were also ridiculous! I went with the NACA organization to have them submit loan mod paperwork to CW/BofA two weeks ago....I am officially two months behind as of today, and the second half of my property taxes are due today...and there is not enough in my escrow acct to pay for them! Try NACA for a loan modification, many people here have gotten good results: www.naca.com go to the homesave area

Re: I am trying to get a Mod. from CW. Taylor44, I would just go right to NACA. They will help get you a loan mod with lower payments, not like CW, they just want to raise your payments. If we had extra money we would be able to pay our mortgage and bills and not be calling them in the first place. Forget about CW bc they don't want to help anyone, definitely get yourself signed up with NACA and get the process going. We are 9 months late and our still in our home. If they try to foreclose your home, NACA will step in and stop it while they are working on your loan mod. They have helped alot of people so far, just read the success stories and get your paperwork in ASAP. Giantsfan

Re: I am trying to get a Mod. from CW. I submitted my paperwork to Cw in December and received a mod which lowered my payments by 1200. I had sent in a payemnt during the mod process which is supposedly in fees. I requested this be moved to partial payment on monday and was told to call today as my first payment is due today. I called this morning and first the woman told me there was a problem with the mod which almost made my heart stop, then she was like "oh no I see it was approved and completed"... At any rate the partial payment of 3600. has not been moved over to the partial payment area where I can have it applied against today's payment. She told me to call back after 9:00 ct as noone could help me. I wish I had one contact person as every time I call I get a different person with different degrees of intelligence and I have to go through the whole story every time. Has anyone else had a problem after mod was stated as being completed and approved? Thanks panicing in NJ

Re: I am trying to get a Mod. from CW. Hi patnj, i just got approved for a mod with the new payments starting on june first. i was told that may's payment was added to the principle but naca told me to pay April's. I did that yesterday over the phone with the advocacy group. the lady on the phone said i owed a late fee for march that I paid already. In addition, i told her that I need to speak to someone regarding my paperwork lumping in april's payment with my mod, since i paid april's payment after the paperwork was submitted. the lady couldnt help me, didnt know my status *(I HAD TO TELL HER THAT I ALREADY SUBMITTED THE PAPERWORK) back to cw, signed and notarized. I will call naca and advise them of this, also, i'll wait and see if cw updates my information before the 28th of may. i have detailed records, so i not too concerned.

Re: I am trying to get a Mod. from CW. Hi Well my first payment is due today and when I called to make it there is suddenly a problem with my modification. I have been on the phone all morning and each person I talk to tells me something different. Apparantly a negoitater in Arizona, now has a question on the proof of income I sent in. My mod was signed and sent back to them on 2/25 and everthing is fine with it according to the Hope Team. This woman works for the Home Retention Dept and all I have is a name a extention but no telephone # other than the ususal 800 number. My income is the same as I am on salary and can't imagine what this about and why it all of a sudden comes up on the day the new loan was to start. I am so upset you can't even imagine. I wish I had used NACA but just as I was going to call them the mod doc's came and they were great terms. Can they do this?? anyone else have this problem? Thanks any advice would be appreciated.

Re: I am trying to get a Mod. from CW. Congrats on getting your Docs. I am ready to drive to CW and rip all the people there a new one. I have specific notes documenting what CW told me. Today I was told that I WAS not pre-qualified or pre-approved for a loan mod. WTH I have 3 other phone convos telling me I did. They told me that I sent in an email asking for the sale date to be postponed, um if I had an email addy to do that don't you think I would be doing more thru email then calling everyday for status updates? I asked why my negotiatior has not returned my calls or the messages that were sent via email for the last week, well like duh ms. you are not his only client um no crap I know that. But crap this is nuts, I have been trying since January to get a loan mod and it's not going anywhere, sale date of 6/24/09, oh but Ms. that is almost 2 moinths out, you have time. Well yeah I have time but what about the gawkers that drive by my house, or the kids that say stuff to my son in middle school or the customers that go into my hubby's work and say oh so and so can't pay their bills. These people at CW have no clue how frusttrating it is for us. I wish I could slap em thru the phone.

Getting worried. CW mod. I sent in my docs 2 mths ago, nothing happening. I will be 2 mths behind in a few days. Will CW foreclose on me? Some news articles I have read seem to indicate that they want the homes and others say they don't. I am getting confused. I want to keep my home but will only be able to pay about half of the payment due to slow business. What should I expect after 2 mths late? Thanks.

Re: I am trying to get a Mod. from CW. taylor44, you This is just my experience, but I have had two conversations with Countrywide/BOA a week for the last six months.... I was never assigned a negotiator, and I went directly through CW. It took six months for the mod to be approved and docs to be sent. I called about a million times, and it did become a part-time job during that time. By the time we got the docs, we were 12 months behind. No sale date, not even in pre-foreclosure. I was told by the reps that the key was to get into review for a mod before you go into pre-foreclosure. Then, no further action against you happens (sale date, foreclosure, etc) while they are reviewing. If it goes to pre-foreclosure before you sign up for workout, there are no guarantees that you won't get a sale date. That doesn't mean they won't rescind it, but who wants a sale date? This is just what they have told me, so take it with a grain of salt Hang in there, if you haven't been denied you are still okay

Re: I am trying to get a Mod. from CW. Oh, one more thing....You may want to consider going through NACA. CW doesn't seem to being giving out giant rate reductions right now, and it appears they are slow to participate in the MHA plan. The only reason I went through CW was that I had already started my mod when I found this forum, and I could afford the house as is.

Re: I am trying to get a Mod. from CW. I will make this as short as I can; called cw/boa in 12/08 was prequalified for aworkout. On 1/20/09 i got approved for mod lowered my pmt by $800 signed notorized the papers. LN called and said deal was off the table my investor fannie mae wanted me to do repmt to a mod. No rempt plan put me in for another mod on 2/24/09. Called them 4x per week. Denied me on 5/11/09 (7 months behind). Could not get anyone to call me for 90+ days but 3 people called me mon to say I was denied. Made numerous calls no retuen calls. Put me to the forecloser dept pre qualifed for a foreberance denied. I had to instuct them on how to read my paystubs. Now have put me in for another mod. I am sorry I no everyone raves about NACA, they were of no help to me. IF i can perservere this long anyone can. I did fax the pre office and will be writing politicians this weekend.

Recieved a package from B of A yesterday The package is an application for a proposed mod. A very good mod. This is the MHA program. I have some questions. I hired a person to handle a mod for me. He is sending it in but he says that he prefers to deal with CW not B of A. I thought they are one in the same now or do they each have their own negotiating depts.? I am confused.
