Re: Need HELP!! Well we signed up with Naca on May 8th and already had our 7/2 sale date. I read somewhere if the rescheduled sale date does not happen within 30 days the bank has to start all over with the intent to accelerate notice. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not.... In one way it makes me nervous that they will be more inclined to go through with the next sale date... so I'm biting my nails. Have heard nada from NACA since talking to them last week frantically inquiring about my sale date. Even though I've called and left messages and emailed the service address as reccommended. I am praying for good results for all of us right now! Thanks for all your support forum members!

Re: Need HELP!! First and foremost... Thank You Loansafe for the knowledge that you have given me. Thank you Moe for creating this forum. It has helped me saved my home, my family and my marriage. At one point in time I felt like I was going to lose everything. Now I am given another chance to make things right and repair the damages that has been done. This is my conclusion.... I was approved for a loan modification in late Aug. I've been at this since Feb. '09. I was 6 months behind on my payments and have an FHA loan. I even signed up for NACA to assist me...only to drop them during the process. I had a very bad experience with NACA and decided to take on Bank of America on my own. I contacted the Office of the Chairman in Aug. and was assigned to a negotiator within a week. Once I was assigned I gave him 4 days to contact me and when he didn't I emailed him. In my email I stated the reason I fell behind and what I wanted to achieve if I was approved for a modification. I asked to be brought current and for the current national interest rate available. The negotiator called me the next morning and told me I was approved for a modification. I was shocked I got a response that quick. (They claim it takes about 90 days but they can do it within hours). He never even looked at my file before the email. I am glad that it is over though. My home is saved and I can finally relax. What I got was 4.875%....$1035 for 218 payments. Previous mortgage was $1210 with 6.375%. I had to send in $1176 with the docs but my next payment isn't due until Dec 1st. When I received the docs I had 2 days to get it back to them cause I received it during Labor Day weekend. Now I'm waiting for my account to be updated. After all this was done I checked my NACA account and it said proposal received from servicer. I wondered what it was and tried contacting the negotiators to see what it could it but have not heard anything. I will be upset if it was the proposal NACA had made for $766. Of course it might be too late for me to accept it because I accepted the one from Bank of America. I guess I should ignore it. Well this would be the end to my journey. I wish everyone else the best and hope you all get results soon. Nobody deserves to be put through the BS Bank of America puts their customers through. But I am grateful they gave me this opportunity to keep my home. Thank You again Loansafe!!!

Re: Need HELP!! Congratulations to you! I know exactly the stress and strain this can have on a person and their relationships. I've been there, too! I've had so many low points over the last year where I thought my marriage was on the verge of collapsing and may never be saved. But, things are getting better and our outlook on the home front has improved. While I'm still not out of the foreclosure sea just yet, I feel like everything is going to be okay! Again, congrats on getting your mod and stay on top of them to make sure it does get implemented! Best wishes!

Re: Need HELP!! Thanks guys.... I will definately stick around to help others that have helped me. It's stressful to go through this on your own. Thank god for this site. I think I would still be in limbo if I didn't get the right contacts. I forgot to add that my payment should be dropping about $30. I found cheaper homeowners insurance. My agent wasn't trying to work with me so I chose to go with a new company. Too bad for him!
