With the official change to Bank Of America Now that countrywide is a faded memory with the peoples cash, and Bank of America has the same perks of having been given our cash, it seems to me Bank Of America will bull doze us out of a mod. They seem to me not to willing to help. The website now is B of A and I can't contact anyone or view my accounts. I've been getting calls to call them to work out a mod and they say they are open till midnight but I call at six thirty and they say they are closed. I get recordings and told my mod review is canceled because of my lack of funds... No ****, I've been unemployed for 8 months and just started back to work three weeks ago. I had income coming in that totaled six thousand and they still say I didn't qualify. Before the TARP money was doled out I was given a mod on an investment property that now I should never have tried to sve because it is costing me my home. Any other bad news about B Of A taking over?

Re: With the official change to Bank Of America Yes ***, my accounts are no longer online is what I'm told and to call a number. I call the number and get recordings telling me my modification has been canceled. In April I was told I had a negotiator. Then I was told it was dropped because they can't get a hold of me. I have always been in contact with them and they call me and mail me and email me so I find that odd. Then I was told I qualified for a mod and when I checked I am now not. !4 months of pure BS.

Re: With the official change to Bank Of America I know we all have long, complicated stories so Ill try to keep mine short..... I initially applied for a loan modification through Countrywide on 10-13-08. I finally received two modification packages within a week of each other in the first few days of January 09. I accepted the one, much better I should add, from the Hope Team. The other was from the Home Retention Department. I inquired as to when it my online account would reflect these changes since it still said I was past due since Nov 08. They told me 30-90 days and it would be update in their system. I waited...called them again.......and waited and called again, and again.....They kept telling me they were backlogged and that it takes awhile....blah blah. They had received my signed and notarized papers and always told me exactly what my modification details were every time I called and asked when I could view it online. Ive made my new payments for about 5 months now and each time called to make sure they received them and also to inquire when I my account would finally relfect these changes. Well, about a week ago I called, once again to inquire as to when my account would be updated. I entered all my information and it sent my call directly to the foreclosure dept. The rep told me that I owed **insert ridiculous amount here** but since they completed the modification it may be different. I told him I wouldnt owe that if my mod was completed and he said oh, well it looks like it was cancelled. Im sorry, what? He just told me in pretty much one breath that the modification was completed and cancelled? He also said he didnt have that many details as to why it was, but that it was cancelled on FEBRUARY 2ND!!! Not a soul told me in the past 5 months every time I called!! They applied the payments I had been making per the modification to my account which brought it just shy of me being 5 months behind now? Words cant even describe the emotions Im feeling....

Re: With the official change to Bank Of America WOW!! I hate hearing these stories. These guys have to be the worst. I truly hope that this guy has no clue what he's talking about. There has been a lot of that going on. I hope you find out better news. I would be calling and try to talk to someone else. Maybe try emailing Barbara DeSoer. barbara.j.desoer@bankofamerica.com Good luck and keep us updated.

Re: With the official change to Bank Of America Redstang, thanks for sharing. Just my gut feeling is that since it is officially B of A everything will be wiped under the carpet and we will be forgotten since they have collected their money and have had time to figure out who has PMI insurance so that lessons their loss. Just a guess. Sarge thanks for the email adddress.

That email address was a life saver and hopefully a loan saver!! I emailed Barbara deSoer Friday morning. A couple hours later, I received a call from the Customer Advocacy Department from a lady named Jasmine. She told me she wanted to get everything figured out. She gave me the phone number to that department and her extention. I spoke with her this morning and told her how important it is to get this straightened out and soon. She told me she needed to do some research and would have an answer for me by the end of the week. Tonight I signed in to my account and have already noticed changes. GOOD changes. Looks like they are beginning to correct my figures per the modification. Lets hope and pray it gets changed to what it needs to be and permanently. Thank you guys for your help. Im so glad I found this forum and have been telling people about it already

Re: With the official change to Bank Of America Can anyone tell me who Barbara DeSoer is? We're also going through a loan mod. right now with CW and our negotiator seems to be playing head games with us. She's called and told us we got approved for the loan modification. but our payments would be $3100 on our first loan.....guess what....that's what our payment was before we started our 4 month repayment plan....it was interest only before the repayment plan and now it would be principal and interest that's the modification part of it! That's crazy.....she told us in order to qualify to extend the term of the loan to 40 years rather than 30 years we have to be close to negative or negative after paying all our bills each month. But since we're positive $400 we can make it, does anyone have any insight as to what the ends and outs of a loan mod. are? Has anyone actually gotten approved after a repayment plan. Will e-mailing Barbara DeSoer help our situation?
