We have been getting the run around with Countrywide and now bank of america. We did everything they tell you to do if you see a problem on the horizon. We called them immediately, as soon as we new a there was a problem. We never recieved an iota of help. We applied for a forebearance and were denied, I then asked for a repayment plan anything. Not a repayment plan, forebearance nothing. We forwarded a hardship letter. We have paid them as much as we can. We were told we were in review for a modification 2 weeks ago when we called to check in with them. We called back a week later to find out where to send a payment and the lady on the phone told us that we were in fact not being reviewed for a modification. She took our financials again. Told us we could send a payment and gave us an address. I called the next day to verify the address, and the next person told us we could not send in a payment. I asked for a supervisor who said the same thing. I told her that in the 2 weeks we have recieved nothing but misinformation from them and all she could offer was a sorry. I came to the forum. Found the email address for the president of bank of america sent an email stating that we are trying to fix this and keep getting bad information. I said that we keep calling, and keep getting misinformed and we have asked for help and have not gotten any. I also said that misleading people is wrong and that I was contemplating contacting the states attorney general's office, since they literally hold our lives in their hands and we can't get a straight answer and not an iota of assistance. I was seriously at my wits end with this. We are now being given special handling. We have never recieved an iota of help from CW or BofA and we have been steady calling. We don't owe that much on our mortgage and that is probably why. I am hopeful now that at least we have a chance to maybe get something accomplished. They also gave us a verified email address and called me back within 3 hours of sending the email. This is the first ray of hope we have had in this situation and I found all the information I needed right here. I know we have to stay on top of them, and we will keep at it but a big thanks none the less. At least now we are actually getting some communication and at least the extension of help. I also as a back up have been filling out the NACA stuff just in case. We shall see. Alls I can do is keep at it. NEVER take no for an answer with these people. |

We've gone thru 2 Senior Negotiators and finally ended up with David Leighton who finally got some stuff accomplished... We emailed the office of the president twice! We call every few days... initially the person they gave us actually said oh your mod was approved I was like really then she was like what's your name again??? I seriously think half the people that work there are incompetent. But David did tell us on Wed. that docs were in the mail from fannie mae, and not bank of america. Anyone know the deal on this??? We also did file a complaint with DOT about the service we recieved and ALL of the inaccurate information, and no one following up on our phone calls. We are waiting on the docs now though... I'm apprehensive as to what they will say. |

We always called David with questions and concerns. I never spoke to my negotiator. But they were not the same person. We just found out his name and extentsion today. |

I didn't think we would qualify or they would let us go thru that program... We are not upside down... we meet the income eligibility and the percentages but I seriously didnt' think that BOA was modifying loans under MHA. So will update when the papers come... we shall see. |

David works with the NACA submissions so it sounds like you wouldn't be getting docs for MHA if your NACA file wasn't reviewed but you will have to see what you get. Does NACA know what you are being sent? What ever it takes to get BofA to look at your file!!! | |

Paashan, Mary I could go on... that we were awaiting those loan docs... docs still didnt show up so we got nervous started calling Last week told to wait a week and call back...that was today... We have a new negotiator and they have no idea where the paper work went, can not answer my questions as to what happened in this process and are not even trying to figure it out. Our new negotiator Veronica is a flaming B. she said to me whats up I'm getting all these phone calls like I was a giant pain in her behind and taking away her valuable time... I was like probably because I'm trying to figure out what is going on and no one is giving me a straight answer. I just re emailed COO for the third time... and emailed David Leighton... I have already filed a complaint with the Treasury department mortgage division and will be updating that tomorrow... Is this legal? for them to tell us that something is coming and really nothing shows up? I'm petrified now that we will wake up with a foreclosure notice on the door. NO ONE at that company knows what they are doing at all. |

God knows what they will do to your file if you offend them. |
