LIfe after the MOD, for those whose accounts are not updated or not correct

Anyone else having issues with their account not being updated or not updated correctly after getting a Naca Modification?

They are refusing to update my account with the new modification it's been 60 days since i sent the paper work back (not sure why) I have been told there is no problem with docs or the modification, contacted the office of the pres (Barbara Desoer) over 2 weeks ago, got a call back within 2 hours and the rep from her office has been working very hard to get this fixed, but no one in the dept that fixes this is cooperating with her? They all acknowledge what needs to be done to fix it, but no one will take care of it. I guess it's time for another mass email and fax campaign to anyone that could possible help, local and fla politicians that is joke, got form letter responses last time. Talked to Naca they are also sending emails to CW/BOA but are not getting responses, they say don't worry I have a legal binding doc, yeah right others on here have been canceled with the same docs and if I pay the mod payment it won't get applied just stuck in suspense account. FYI little tidbit of info I found out, for all who have or will get mods, CW/BOA will not send you back a copy of the signed mod, why cause they don't sign them, they just process them and put them in your file, that is their sneaky little trick that way they can always say they didn't agree to or it is canceled it since they didn't sign it.

Wife and I just came from the Notary and then Fed Ex to send our mod docs back to CWBoA. They have to be back in their office by 6-10. Seeing what you are going through to get your account updated lets me know the fight is not over. Did you also fax a copy of the notarized documents to CW?
If so, what fax number did you send them to?

Unbelievable! You would think that CW/BOA would just like to get through these MODS and move on. I would not be suprised if somewhere in the future CW started backing out of these MODS they are so generously giving out!

No i don't have a fax number for the department that handles the processing of the mods, wish I did. I did send a copy of the signed mod along with the Fed Ex confirmation to the person in the office of the pres that is helping me via email. Most others have gotten thier accounts updated quickly, there are just a few of us who have not and I know they can do this quickly since they did with my first naca mod it ony took 2-3 weeks to have the account updated. good luck with yours

Wow, so they send out the docs, WE have to have them notarized, but they don't have to sign. That is really scary. I would think that they would have to send copies of documents signed by them also for the modification to be binding. Good question for an attorney I guess.
It seems as though, since you have contacted office of president and they can't get the department to fix the error of not updating your account that it should be apparant to those in charge at CW that their employees are not doing their jobs properly and should be removed from their positions and replaced with employees who are competent enough to do their job! Don't let up on them! You have waited to long to get this straightened out already.

BINGO! We had a loan mod from Feb 2008 that they just cancelled. I thought we were done with these morons but the games are just beginning again. I'm not sure we'll ever be done with it unless we sell (ha fat chance in Michigan) or walk away. Right now I'm mad as hell and fighting them every step of the way. We are meeting an attorney to discuss our options. One of the attorney's from BOA contacted a Michigan State Official about our account. I still have yet to hear the outcome of that. Bottom line is just when you think you're finished and back on your feet these morons come along and pull the rug out from ya. I'm going to keep emailing, calling and sending every media outlet I can, my story to get the word out. I hope they rot in hell.

I just gets better and better doesn't Gray? I recently had my CW negotiator, Christy McGowan, tell me that CW has NOT MAILED OUT ANY MAKING HOME AFFORDABLE PACKAGES TO ANYONE. Poster Sunny on this sight has received a package FOR MAKING HOME AFFORDALBE FROM CW. I'm am just amazed at the level of lies about the government programs that they have agreed to participate in. I wish I knew who to write.......

I guessing the screaming, yelling, constant calling and emailing everyone I can think of paid off somewhere (I have spent more time on this crap then I would have if I was working a full-tme job) Geez, my account is partially updated now, they reversed the payment (the 1 the stupid CW idiot who of course didn't see a mod, should not have taken in the 1st place on 4/6 as mod docs were on their way and included the interest for that payment) and I now have $1569 in the suspense/hold account $1295 is supposed to be posted to my June 1 payment, wonder if they'll send me the balance we all know how that one goes, of course it will go to some kind of fees they suddenly found out I have to pay. when you are unemployed and hurtin for $$ that $155 will buy groceries for 2 weeks, ok maybe 1 week, LOL! trying to keep up that sense of humor before I bang my head on the wall. I made screen shots and saved them as documents and printed them of everything going on with my account and I suggest anyone else who got a mod or gets one should do the same so you have proof of your account.
Well it's back to waiting for them to finish the update, 1 odd thing, I went to look at my Hud settlement statement listed under loan docs and it wouldn't let me, said I could not view my loan docs since my account was under review, who knows with the CW idiots, I have signed original some where just wanted to save copy to the computer. If you are having issues with your account like me, email everyone at least once a week, especially Barbara Desoer, Pres of BOA Home Loans and Ken Lewis, CEO of BOA. Hang in there everyone and don't let them win!

I am still waiting for my online account to be completely updated, too. My mod is listed as completed and closed. They have me listed as current, and good portions of my account are listed correctly, but I can't pay them through their website yet, and they have the payment amount listed wrong. I called a regular old customer service rep, who first told me I owed half of what my payment was, and then just slightly less, as the online info showed. I told the rep I was just going to send in my $ 855 like the paperwork said, and that's what I did.

I really hope that doesn't screw anything up. Even though I am sending in more than she asked me for, I am nervous....

Also, I hope it doesn't get stuck in some partial account, since they have me listed as current. I thought that I had all of this stress behind me. I thought I might never have to speak to anyone over there again

OMG, I loathe idiots and I hate the CW idiots the most! account is almost done updating and when I logged in this morning first screen that pops up is your payment for 6/1 is past due when are you or have you sent it, I had to fill that out before accessing the account info, They have the darn payment already it's in the suspense account being held since it was paid at the same time as the mod docs were done, they reversed it as part of thier updating the account and its sitting there $1569, but payment amount is $1295, so they will probably let it sit there past 6/16 so they can get another late fee out of me! Does it ever end?? For those whose accounts are not updated or not updated correctly I urge you to email Barbara Desoer and Ken Lewis the head honchos, that is the only thing that got my account moving along!

Thanks Grey. I sent my docs back 2/25 and the file has not been updated. Last person I talked to said the mod wasn't actually competed until 5/5 which means I need to wait 30-90 days after this date for the system to update. What the hell were they doing from 2/25 to 5/5? I don't trust anyone at CW or BOA and what you said about them not signing the mods is a disgrace..

YAHOO!! finally it's over, they have updated my account with new 5% rate, the message feature and online payment feature are now updated. They just need to post the $1569 in suspense to the June payment, which the person in the Pres office assured me would be done and she will stay on top of it till it is finished. FYI, for those who got Naca mods and thier accounts are not updated yet, I was told that there was a whole batch of Naca Mods that were somehow missed and not processed but my emails and phone calls have made CW aware of the problem and they are working on processing the mods, may take a week or two to get them all done. Not sure if the missed batch includes mods that didn't come from Naca as well, but if your mod is not processed and it's been longer than 3-4 weeks since you sent your paperwork back or if you have a july payment due your mod could very well be in a "missed batch" and sitting somewhere. I would definately recommend sending an email to Barbara Desoer's office to get it taken care of, if you wait for the regular departments to do it and your docs are in a group that is missed or overlooked, who knows when they will be processed.

That is GREAT NEWS!!!

I sent my mod docs back yesterday and they arrived today. Took a screen shot of the Fed Ex receipt and the mail room persons signature who signed for them.
My first payment at the new rate is July 1st. Thanks to you I now know to keep a eye on my account information!

I have been doing that all along and it's a good idea to printout or save everything including the different screens on your online account, you can also hit the print page button at the top of a CW screen, when it comes up to print use the mouse to highlight the who document and then save it as a word document, I also print everypage out that way it has the current date at the bottom of the page. Good luck and keep an eye on that account to make sure it gets updated and done correctly.
