Unfortunately, we are having to deal with cw/boa again. My situation 18 months ago was do to marital troubles. Now its do to loss of income (not total but pay cuts) we are having to deal with all this again. I called cw after we fell behind 1 payment, they wanted to do the typical, payment plan, blah, blah, blah I stated that no, what I wanted was to get my interest decreased, we are paying 9.49 and that the last time they helped all they did was add past due intrest and taxes to my loan and increase by pmts by 200-300 a month and call it a modification. This time I told them I wanted a true modification, I have a adjustable, and it's set to go at the end of the year, sorry I ramble |

I wrote about our situation, and lo and behold there was a phone call. And as promised by the caller, the Bofa Loss mitigation dept is working with us. They say that the Making Homes affordable Program is the best in our situation. Asked me to speak to them around the middle of June when they will have all the info. any advice? |

But one thing they will usually say is to call them back in a couple weeks, you should follow up with them at least once a week until your modification is completed. Stay strong and keep us posted on your progress

Well I received a call again today as promised in my previous thread from steven again in the customer contact division and he gave me the name of my negoiator, it's Teresa Yeakey. He advised she should contact me within 24-48 hours. I just got home from work and she had already left me a message. So I am hoping this is all good. Can anyone tell me if they have heard of her before or worked with her? Wish me luck! |

There was an unknown name & number on my caller id today, but no message, so not sure if that was my nego or not. So glad the Barbara e mail seems to have gotten you somewhere! Have you checked your account under workout info, does it say anything new yet? |

Hopefully they will get ahold of you soon. I tried to check c/w website but it isn't coming up so I'm not sure if they are having problems because I can pull up BoA but when I try to get into c/w thru there it's also not coming up. How frustrating. I was hoping maybe to see something different than active/active processing. Keep the faith and keep me posted on your progress. I'll let you know how mine goes after this Teresa calls me back. |

I spoke with my nego, wednesday and she has stated she has everything she needs othr than a list of our monthly expenses. Can anyone tell me the approximate amount that they look for in surplus for a modification. We are right around the 275 mark but I can tweak if that is to much or not enough. I have to fax to her monday because she was out of the office thursday/friday so I really need some help as to this last part. my nego advised after she has this is takes aprox 7-10 for her part but could be shorter or could be a little longer, has anyone dealt with this to know what comes next after this part. Is she the one that sends the docs if they approve my mod? Thanks for all the help. This is the best site to help you keep from just loosing or mind or sitting around crying all day because it's such a frustrating process! |

Sammie04, I also contacted the president of BofA, received a letter this week that my senior negotiator is Theresa Yeakey. I called her number, left a message and have not received a call back. Other than receiving a voicemail (no message???) from the 805 000-0000 number about 2 days after my initial email of two weeks ago...I can't get a response from this person.....I will try again tomorrow. |

When you completed your expense report, did you show a surpluss or did you come back short every month. I'm not sure whether I should submit our expenses as it has been or what we've been cutting back on. I'm asking because my expense report reflects what my budget will look like once I modify our personal spending. Things I'm cutting back on are gas, healthclub memberships, food expenses, etc. With these cut backs we still come up short. I spoke with hope now and they said that CW-BOA could modify my loan as low as 2% for the next 5 years, which would reduce my payment by half. With a loan modification and the budget plan I worked out, we will be able to survive on our income till things get better. If we don't get a loan modification, then we will be short every month. Any advise would be appreciated. thanks wender |

I spoke with my nego last wednesday and faxed my expenses on 06/08/09, she stated she would be out of the office last thursday/friday and back on monday. Yesterday in our door was a package from fed-ex from cw/BoA, it was a modification but essentialy all they did was add the past due to our balance and ask for no upfront funds and they even state in the letter we have 30 days to get docs back. It says our first pmt will be August 1 and no where is the nego's name. It says home retention team. They didn't modify anything and it increased our pmt by 100. on the website under the workout it states approved and that my nego should be calling and we should have docs in the mail and that they are time sensitive and needs to be sent back within 10 days yet it also says if we have not received them or a call by 08/07/09 to then call back. What the h*ll. I really don't know what to do now. Any thoughts! |

I would call and tell them it is unacceptable to you (if in fact it is...). Teresa Yeakey is my sr. negotiatior, but when she finally called me back...said she cannot tell me anything because I am with NACA. My suggestion is to go with NACA...since it seems you are already getting the runaround! NACA Go to the homesave area on the website..... |

That kind of crap is a waste of time and money. Call them up and tell them it is not acceptable. If you aren't working with NACA I would echo rozuki and get started. |
