We are giving up on dealing directly w/ CW. Everytime It's a different story. It is a roller coaster of emotions. You get excited, relieved, then freaked out. Back and forth depending on the agent you get. Well my issue is this- Once initiating the mod request from CW, they did the usual cutoff from online access. I can't view any acct info, messaging, billpay, etc. The problem is, I still have been sending the mortgage payments in via check. CW is not doing anything w/ them. Not cashing them, or sending back. I don't like this. I don't want to get any more behind then we are akready, but I am not going to have checks just floating around out there with no explaination or access to acct info at all. I guess I was wondering if anyone had justheld all the mortgage payments until the mod was finally addressed? They make it so much harder than it has to be. I can't even make them take our money now. Come on already. |

CheckFree Corporation - CheckFree is now part of Fiserv. I haven't used them because until now they have applied my checks and we are a couple of months behind. Not sure how they choose what checks to hold and whose they apply. Sent them one on Tuesday and it isn't showing on my online checking as having gone through yet. Good luck with your process and keep us updated. |

Wouldn't it be the same if you paid from your checking account online? Just asking because that is what I've been doing and I wonder if it will eventually be an issue. |

I have never used it but it was mentioned in some previous threads from some who were locked out of their ability to pay online on the CW website. It works great for me. Checkfree sends the funds by wire to CW/BOA and the funds post to my account the next business day after 1:00pm ET. I am still able to see my transactions on my account. I heard others cannot and you may needs to call then to confirm payment if you cannot see any of your account information . |

Do they not want you to pay them? I was going to send certified mail, but I will look into this service instead. Thanks again. |
