Countrywide Question - Loan Modification Forum

Hi All,

I submitted my paperwork to NACA and completed their process.. NACA told me to contact Countrywide in a few weeks to see if they received the paperwork from NACA. Well, I just called CW and they haven't received the docs but in the convo the rep said CW or the loans she has seen, are not mods for the life of the loan and just for 5 yrs. I am guessing she didn't know what she was talking about but wanted to get the take on the group.

Naca mods are for the life of the loan. The new housing plan by the president are for 5 years.

yeah, i know and just assumed the CW rep was not aware of NACA or what they can and have done.

But she did sound pretty confident in her answers and that CW is not giving mods for the life of the loan and just for 5 yrs..She was like in 5 yrs you should be able to refi or whatever. I am like not if the values stay where they are and I don't see them going up anytime soon. I am already 100K under.

lol..not laughing at you but some of the things they tell people are funny. You wonder where they pull their info from.

Hello Moyer,

If the NACA told you to contact CW to check on the status of your paperwork, you may want to try this number:

Advocacy Group 877-327-9225

That is the department at CW/BOA which deals with the non-profit organizations. If anyone, they will know if they have or have not received your documents. Make sure you give them your NACA ID# so they can flag you as a NACA member.
