Online Account Updates??

So, I just checked my online account today. It finally shows my new due date adjustment., It also shows they have added my late payments before my mod and principal balance change. It does not actually show any of the new loan info though. My payments still show as a partial balance, so they have not applied those either. This was as of 05/07/09. They must have been working on i yesterday. I had looked online like i do everyday, and nothing has changed yesterday yet. Considering my mod was effective mar 1st, i guess its a step in the right direction.

Did this happen to anyone else?

Re: Online Account Updates??

Yes...they update the accounts one section at a time and it usually takes a couple of days as they update each piece of info completing the update. Congrats!

Re: Online Account Updates??

B of A account info check
Check your account status online.
You can log on to Countrywide Home Loans- Equity, Refinance, and Purchase to check this.

Once you log in, you will see in the upper left corner of the screen, "Account Options" and under that, "My account summary". Click on "My home loans" to retrieve your account information. You will now find an expanded menu bar on the far left of your screen. Scroll down to "Financial hardship" and click on "Workout information". You will see two sections, "Documents Received" and "Current Workout Status".

Under the workout status, you should see detailed information that your file is under review and a date when more information will be available (and instructions not to call before that date). I believe the intention here is to avoid excessive phone calls and give them adequate time to process your request. You will also see "Information as of" fill in the date, "Workout stage", and "Phase/Sub-Phase".

You may not see anything under "Documents Received" yet. It does take some time as the information you faxed must be scanned and uploaded into the system. Do not panic...if you've gotten this far, the negotiator has your documents in hand!

Here is what the screen will look like:

Documents Received
Processing DateWorkout TypeDocument Type

No Documents Found For This Account
https://customers.countrywide.com/se...ges/spacer.gif
The above list is real-time and reflects the documents processed to date for this account. We may have received additional documents recently sent to us that have not been processed and therefore do not appear in the list. Please do not call us to check the status of a document not showing in the list as our representatives will not be able to provide any additional information than what is shown here. Thank you for your patience.

Workout Status Details: Your request for assistance is under review. During the review process, a thorough examination and analysis of your loan will be completed. During this time, we may or may not need additional information from you. It is common that you will not hear anything from us during the review period, but please be advised that all collections activities have been temporarily suspended during this review period. We expect more information to be available on 09/21/2009. If your status remains unchanged after the 09/21/2009, please call and speak to a customer service representative. Please do not call back before 09/21/2009 as that will delay the process. Please respond promptly to any calls or requests that you may receive from us during this period. Lack of response will cause your workout to be cancelled.

You're welcome, glad I could help. If they showed all the documents that were received, but if all of what you sent isn't listed, I would contact your negoiator. I have been helping my daughter with her B of A mod, and she has faxed her financials three times, and they stilll haven't showed them as received until this week!
It took almost 7 weeks from the time she sent in her documents for there to be any information or updates. She started in July, and it just showed the status of her modification about two weeks ago.

Re: Online Account Updates??

Well I am trying to qualify for the FHA HAMp but even though I am good as far as the front and back end DTI they say I don't qualify because the partial claim I would need to get my payments to 31% is $5000 more then the max allowable based on 30% of what we owe...thing is now I am thinking that number could change based on what interest rate they are using...from what I can tell they are using 5.5%, but she told me that the program uses the current rate and I think that is 4.8% now, I am going to call today!
