Hello.

I am been reading all the threads here and what a wonderful site. I am currently in foreclosure with CW. I called them and got the Home Retention dept where i was asked to fax over documentation for review of a modifcation. It was denied. I called back and was told that there were other programs that I would be qualified for and to fax information to them..Same place different fax number. I fax'd it on March 12th as agreed and on March 14th I received a letter in the mail dated March 10th stating that my modification was denied. I called up on the following Monday and the rep said it was closed no reason given. There is no sale date yet but I am sure that is around the corner. what do i do. I just want to save my house. please help.

Hi Renee,

Welcome to the forum and thank you for joining.............

If this is the only property that you own..........you may want to try going through NACA instead to help..........they are a HUD approved counseling agency and the services for their Home Save modification program are free........we have had many members give up fighting and getting a runaround with CW and get help with NACA instead............here is the link for the info..........

Hello Renee,
Someone should be around soon to help you. Your sale date would depend upon what state that you are in and how long ago you received Notice of Default. If you could put up more details of your situation (when you took out loan, amount of loan(s), what STATE, when you went into default, it would help someone advise your situation.
Check out NACA online, they can help postpone a sale sometimes.

Yes they will work with the investor on your loan through CW's Advocacy Team.

Is there anyone at cw that i can talk to about my situation. I called and always get the home retention unit. Isnt there a person in charge that can talk calls. I saw on some other threads about a person by the name of tabitha. Can anyone help

I am going to try now to get housing affordabitlity plan thru cw..they denied me thru the other way so maybe this will be best. I want to talk to the negotiator or someone higher up. My home is in foreclosure no sale date as of today. Is there a email or another number to someone who knows what they are doing that can help beside the cs reps

I been in forclosure since Feb 09. My sale date is May 5, 09. CW Forclosure dept (800-669-6650) called me today and I spoke with a Lorena ext 9698. She was very nice and understanding.... she called me to update my financials and try again to get me a loan modification. Which she did and my 1st loan qualified for the "Obama March 4" plan. However, CW has not yet implemented the plan yet and they dont have a definite date yet but at least my loan states I am eligible for it when they set the date to apply them. For now, the work out dept will try and negotiate a plan for me until then but I do not have to agree or sign and they will hold until further notice on Obama plan.

I spoke with my servicer today and they said the same thing essentially...they are holding off on modifications until 04/01 so they can figure out the Obama plan and who qualifies for it...

Thank you so much. I called yesterday and he went over my financials and who ever entered my information put all wrong information i wanted to screaaaamm. I havent sleep in weeks.. I am so depressed. I look at my house that i work so hard to get and just can imagine not living there anymore. I pray so hard for everyone who is going thru this and that we can all get thru this dark tunnel and finally see some light and get some peace...

I hope you can get some sleep and not let your health go downhill...! Have you considered getting some help through NACA instead of relying on CW to help?
