Citimortgage loan mod help

Hi. I have also have been trying to get a modification through Citi. I sent all my paperwork in late December and was also contacted by (MOS) for Citi in late January. They offered me the same deal, 80 % of my monthly payment for three months, then after the third payment they let me know if my loan will be modified. If it is not, i have to come up with over 7K in May to make up for the difference in payments as well as the payment I skipped on January at their suggestion. I just hate waiting to see if the Mod will go through and feel like i should be doing something else or exploring other options. If there even are any at this point ?? The counselor also told me I am likely to get the modifcation since my rate is high (7.5%). I have been 29 days late every month for the past 6 months or so. I have been trying to find more info on MOS and there is little about them as far as reviews or anything other than their own website. The investor on my loan is Fannie Mae, should i be contacting somewhere else? It's just all so confusing and I hate all the waiting.
