Citi Mortgage Modification

I truly hope that Citi is actually reading these. I finally got a modification on my loan, it is a very good one and they were very helpful it just took a really long time. Unfortunately they want 5000.00 towards the arrears and that is fine, I have the money, but I am out of town, my sister is dying, we don't know when or how much time she has left, she is only 59 years young. I am not sure my mother will be able to deal with it, this is the second child that she has lost at a young age. Anyway, Citi wants the 5000.00 by the 12th of December and I have the money, I just can't get it to them...I bank at a local bank and they cannot wire the money without my written consent. Citi says that if they don't get the money by the 12th they will foreclose. I don't want to loose my home, but i cannot leave my sister and my family at this time. I have tried to find someone to help me, but have not been able to. I asked Citi for and extra month, now it took them over a year to finalize my modification so I didn't think anothe month would be asking too much since my sister is dying. But so far they have said NO, NO NO if the money is not there by the 12th of Dec I will loose my home. It is really a difficult decision to make, loose my home while I am sitting with my family while I am loosing my sister. Citi if you are reading this, PLEASE PLEASE give me one more month for my sister and family's sake Very Very Very Sad

I am so sorry that you are going through all of this at once with the modification and your sister............

Please make a call into the team that is taking care of loan safe members and explain this to them............they are a part of the executive team........

Thank you so very much for the information, I will do exactly that....I am so upset and beside myself, I don't know who to turn to or who to talk to. I know that God does not give us more than we can handle, but I believe in this case he is coming very very close to the limit. I wish I had three wishes, one would be that my sister was healthy and thriving, 2 that no one ever had to be hungry or ********* and three that we had a cure for cancer. Just a quick update, I sent an e mail and also made a phone call and left a message, but I have not heard back from anyone yet. I hope I hear something soon, I don't have a lot of time.

Ha Ha Ha, the joke is on me. I did not realize that there was city mortgage and city residential lending, two different groups, so the numbers and e mail for Citi will not work for me...I guess I am out of luck once again. I am going to loose my home for a mire 5000.00 because I can't get the money to them by the 12 th of December because I am out of town sitting with my family and my dying sister. This is really sad very sad.

So you are not CitiMortgage not a biggie........I have CitiResidential contacts too................I happen to have the number to the Office of the President of CitiResidential...........so call them right away..........and speak to Victoria Dunn if you can........if she isn't there anyone in that office should be able to help...........

I am sorry, I just have so much going on that I get so depressed, sometimes I wish I could be two people. I will call this number right away and again I do thank you for all your help, support and encouraging words, this is the best site ever, I have told all my friend about it and how kind and helpful everyone is.

God Bless America and everyone.....This site is fantastic......*** came to my rescue and helped me more in the past several days than I have had in years. Thank you Thank you. I called Ms. Dunn like you told me to *** and they extended my time to the 31st of December, so it gives me time to spend with my family get my sisters affairs in order when she passes, support my mother and also save my home. Thank you. with all things considered this is a good day. Thank you Thank you, I can't say it enough.

Well, I jumped the gun, they helped, but they didn't. I guess they don't believe that my sister is dying and think that it is just a ploy to prolong things I guess, I don't, but they basically called me a liar and want proof that I do have the money in the bank so they want me to send them something that shows the money is in the bank and it has my name on it. The folks at Citi Residential are really fine folks if they think that I would use my sisters dying as an excuse that is just very very sad. So Victoria, helped, but the supervisor on the other end is not a very caring or trusting person. So I am waiting to hear exactly what kind of proof they want so that I can send it to them and make them eat their words and apologize to me for thinking I was a liar.

Well, I guess I am going to loose my home for a small amount of 5000.00. A home that I have raised two children in, 4 dogs, 2 cats and that sits next door to my aging mother. I don't know where we are going to move to, but I guess we will find some place. I want to thank everyone here for all your help I am so happy so relieved and so grateful to all of you. I got my loan modification and I got 2.8 per cent for the life of my loan from Citi Residential Lending. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU this is a wonderful site and gives people the gift of HOPE back to them.
