Is Citi my loan investor? "Citigroup Mortgage Loan Trust Inc., Asset backed pass-through Certificates, Series 2007-SHL1"

Hi all,
I am in need of speedy guidance as my trustee sale date is scheduled for 12/29/08. My mortgage servicer is Regions Mortgage, however in reviewing the trustee sale notice online I noticed the following verbiage: "Name and Address of Beneficiary: Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as nominee for HSBC Bank USA, National Association in its capacity as Trustee for the Citigroup Mortgage Loan Trust Inc., Asset backed pass-through Certificates, Series 2007-SHL1, 1900 Charles Bryan Road, Cordova, Tennessee 38016"
Am I to take this to mean that the investor of my loan is Citigroup Mortgage? As my workout package is still being reviewed by Regions Mortgage, with the trustee sale date approaching so quickly, would it be wise to contact Citi as well and provide them with my hardship letter, budget, and supporting financial statements? Or do I need to continue waiting for action/decision from Regions Mortgage? As the clock is rapidly ticking, I am in depserate need of direction.

Thank you in advance for your responses.
