Citi Residential Foreclosure Dec. 2nd

I have been trying to work with Citiresidential but they are all but impossible to work with. I have a buyer for my property but they don't want to hear anything about it. This is the most ridiculous situation that I have ever seen. My foreclosure will happen tomorrow, even though I should have closed on the house on the 17th of November. They are just plain evil. Well, after I attend the foreclosure auction, which I fully intend to do, I will then return to MY HOME and proceed to remove every item of value from it. All of my solid oak cupboards, my new furnace, the copper pipes, EVERYTHING!!! I have been put through hell by these people and I don't intend to go quietly!

Re: Citi Residential Foreclosure Dec. 2nd

I am so sorry . . . I am in about the same situation except I wanted a few hundred dollars less of a mortgage and they came back with a payment equal to my arm after it had already adjusted 3 times. I don't understand why they can't comprehend I can't pay 50% of my net income to my mortgage every month. I have three small children who love their home (even though we are underwater by about $50K). If Citi wants my home I guess they can have it with water damage downstairs and a leaking kitchen ceiling because I put all my money toward my mortgage payment!

I hope everything works out for you!

Re: AMC/Ameriquest-Citi Residential

I posted my entire saga back in December, however, in January a real estate company told me I had until Jan. 15th (less than two weeks) to vacate the premises. I rented the only truck I could afford and moved into a rental property. We were not able to get all of our belongings out and when we went back to retrieve them, especially in the basement where all of my family photos, momentos, Holiday decorations, washer and dryer, etc were. Well, much to my amazement, all entry doors were nailed shut, except for the front door which had a lock box on it. I phoned the company, they said "too bad - I should pay my bills". I called the lawyer for the bank, they said the house was NOT nailed shut. I called the sheriffs and they told me that I could enter the home. The real estate company allowed me one hour, on a day that I had to work and could not get a truck. So all of photos, old year books, diplomas, my childrens drawings, etc. All gone. I am heartsick but I am also getting very ANGRY. My foreclosure was FRAUD and I know I can prove it, but no one will listen. And the nailing shut of my home was definitely illegal. I want restitution. Are there any attorneys out there who will handle a case in Syracuse, NY? I really need these people to provide me resititution, my home was only valued at $89,000. In the course of one year I paid them over $40,000. Do they really believe that I should have lost this home? Something is very wrong here and I want my day in court.
