Somebody help!!!!

Ok we have been arguing it out with citimortgage because our loan documents say our loan is due to reset December 2009. We keep getting letters from citi stating it will reset December 2008(next month) we have called them they say it says December 2009 in their system, but yet we keep getting letters saying December 2008. Numerous calls later some reps says NO December 2008 some say December 2009. Finally we got our copy of our note with them ( I sent certified qwr in august) and it also says December 2009. WHAT CAN WE DO???? They are writing us letters stating our mortgage is going up..we can't afford it. How can it say one thing and they do another?? Should we contact an attorney? If so which one? We live in suburbs of St. Louis ..PLEASE ANYONE!!!

If all else fails and your documents say 2009, then let them reset it, pay your normal payments, then when you get a default notice and they demolish your credit scores, you file a Tort claim and put them in front of a jury for damages.

I only noticed that you were sending e-mails. We got responses in a few minutes by calling the number listed for Citi. We got a an agent by the next morning. Jennifer was GREAT!

Yes I emailed all the email addresses I could find. Of course with NO follow up. I did receive 1 email from a Sharon Greene it says:

I'm sorry. Your loan is with Citi Mortgage. I do not work for Citi Mortgage. Please contact Citi Mortgage and ask to speak with a manager.

This is BULL that citi wants to help anyone! And we are in the right! This is what is so frustrating. Thanks to all who replied. I haven't been well, this is affecting my health..I'm so depressed. I realize that my loan is going to reset we just though we had a year to at least try some other avenues..I guess not.

The issue that you are trying to address with Citi here is not a home retention, foreclosure, or modification issue and these are the depts that our contact information will go to.....customer service should have been able to help, but since they are giving you the runaround............

Try dealing directly with the Corporate Office instead and ask them what dept. you need to talk with to have this corrected in their system...........
