If you go to my differnet threads you will see that we made our 3rd trial payment Oct. 1st. We called and made 4th payment Nov 2. On Oct 3, Citi called and said they needed bank statemnts. We sent them in ans it took until the end of the month before they said they were scanned in. Meanwhile, we also got paperwork stating they needed updated tax form because ours had expired. We sent that in too. We called on Tuesday this week to make sure they had everything and to see if we had been assigned a counselor. They tell us they have everything but still no counselor yet. The other weird thing is when I go online it is still saying they need updated paperwork, it has been like this since Oct 3rd, the date just changes . I see they have taken some of my trial money and applied it to my mortgage but other than that it seems like we are just sitting in limbo. We are planning to call and check again today to see where we stand, but have to wait until hubby gets home from work, he's the only one that can call. What do you all think? I am so worried....... |

I though Oh good maybe some positive news about our mod. No, it was a letter stating our forebearance had been canceled due to non-compliance. First of all we have never been on a forebearance, we were current when we got on the trial, second we have made every payment on time, in fact just made 4th payment on Monday and confirmed with them they have everything they need from us. So initially I panicked.... We called the number on the letter and was put through to the HAM team who tells us to disregard the letter, everything is fine and they see our 4 payments and all paperwork in. They tell us while we STILL haven't been assigned a counselor, be patient, lots of people in the que and to call back next week to see if we have been assigned a counselor. She also said we shou,d expect paperwork by the end of the month, of course that's what we were told last month too. So, the saga continues, if this doesn't kill me I guess if and when we get this mod I will have a lot of celebrating to do! |

One part of Citi's system does not know what the other part is doing and stupid paperwork just gets spit out and mailed....what a waste. But yes, keep pressing for a negotiator to be assigned. You can tell the rep you are feeling like you are being threatened by Citi unfairly (they telling you they are going to foreclose when you are always on time) and you need an esclation right away. Tell them you are scared and must have reassurance from someone in authority. TODAY. NOW. Good luck and post the follow up. |
