Hi, everyone

my 2nd mortgage is citi. I'm working on the first one right now.
I've been late for 2 months and someone called few days ago told me that to stop foreclosure, I need to make at least one payment. I told her i'm working on the first one.

And she called me again, today said that I need to make at least one payment in order to do modification in the future (if my first one agree to modify). What she said few days ago and today is different stories. I'm confused.

In addition, she told me they can process for foreclosure if i don't make at least one payment although i told her i'm still waiting for first one.

I don't get it what she said.

Is it true? Can they process foreclosure while I'm waiting for the first one to get it done?

They can file foreclosure paperwork at any time. Generally will not do so until you are at least 90 days late.

if the second is under water. then let them call. these people are crafty in the worst way

I'm going to be late 3rd month on November. My house value drops down about $180.000 from what I paid but I definitely want to keep it as I love my neighborhood.

Actually, I'm waiting for the first mortgage get it done but who know how long it will take. In the meantime, what should I do? Is it possible to try to modify 2nd one while 1st one is on process or do I have to wait until 1st one get it done?

Citi reps are not really helpful. They are just trying to get money. They said I have to make at least one payment to get a modification in the future but hey, how can I possibly pay now when I'm on a hard situation? Well, if I make a payment then they will think look~ this person can make a payment somehow?

You know what I mean?

I really don't understand what they are saying. It doesn't make any sense.

Please give me any suggestion. Anything will be helpful.
