Finially someone who seems to know something esp on Foreclorse Sales

Unlike many here who aren't yet in foreclosure getting assurance no sale will occur has been my biggest concern since been given so much bad info and should have never been foreclosed on. Especially scary or the many reports including confirmations from lawyers that if denied for any reasons can sell home next day (if date has passed) with no notice or chance to cure or Bk13

After 7 months of being in contact with so many at Citi and told all is well with all I submitted and be patience because of backlog I am finally in touch with someone who seems in the know and can get things done.

Since everyone is in different groups or teams at Citi won't name her since if your not assigned to her team she can't help. The key is to find out from someone who the supervisor of your account is in the managers unit.

As to foreclosure sales - after so many modification dept folks failed to get my sale date postponed and hearing they usually wont until the day before the sale (no chance left to to anything) I am told by her that I am on foreclosure hold as of 10/12 with no sale date. She says very clearly that this means to restart the foreclosure the state requirements of notices (90 days in AZ) have to be completely RESTARTED! I am going to check this out with some lawyers to be sure but she was very definitely about this.

Further she assures me if for any reason I might be denied for HAMP her unit (her or one other person - only 2 I understand in the managers unit are above "my team" WILL CONTACT ME and discuss other options. "There will be no next day sale" which is what I have been so concerned about.

Last week I had talked to her and she was requesting from attorney's a 90 day sale date extension instead of the usual 30. But a no date hold assuming its all true is far better especially if have to do the 90 day notice over again if anything goes wrong.

I asked very pointed and specifically about the no date hold in different ways just to be absolutely sure I understood it - can not sell without redoing the required notification (per state by AZ 90 days) and would contact me with plenty of time for other options if for any reason denied.

This was very clearly what she told me and we both clearly understood.

Now, next issue is the mod.
My trial date for payments now start over again now that it has been transferred to the "managers unit". Same trial payment but instead of the 3rd being due 10/24 will be due 11/1. I was so relieved about the sale date issue I didn't get clear if I am restarting the 3 trial all over again or just picking up where left off.

BUT... she also actually could see on her computer that paperwork was UPS'd to me on October 6th and it can take 5-10 days to get to me.

I can make my Nov 1 (I will do a few days early) direct with her and if I have not received paperwork by then she will find out why or track down. I can also pay by debit card as I did for the 1st two trials of old trial...

IN addition she was going to review my file (but would take awhile since she is helping so many desparte folks get sale dates changed) to look into if I should have ever been foreclosed in the first place.

I have detailed documented calls where
On 3/11/09 submitted Hardship Assistance package with all required documents with cover letter that I should qualify under HAMP

Called frequently in March, April, May and June since was concerned was getting so far behind and every time I was told they had everything but behind in paperwork >>

On 5/4 was told I was approved as of 5/1 but would be awhile till they got paperwork to me by mail. The manager unit person also said 5/1 was the date they first were actually putting folks on the HAMP trials, exactly the date I had been told I was approved but never received any document.>>

On 6/10 was told by Joy Roberts of Morris Hardwick that yes all my paperwork looked in order and I would be contacted by a processor named Courtney.

Instead I got a foreclosure notice in direct violation of Fannie/Treasury/HAMP directives not to start foreclosure if being reviewed for HAMP.

I share this if it might help others. The problem is they need more of her in their modification people. All the mod unit folks have been easy to contact and TRY and be very helpful. But nothing got done by all their pushing computer buttons to send me paperwork, get sale date cancelled etc.

How did I find her-
Goes back to when I had Hope Escalation Person doing a conference call to Citi. We were getting the usual response I was getting my self the Hope gal was very agressive in "who is the assigned negoiator for this account" or Who is the supervisor?

Well the Supervisor is the Keon I've talked about before that can only be reached by internal e-mail and never follows up.

Hope gal got transferred all over including to manager that is over the supervisors (who was on another line told for a long time) but that friendly trying to help asst did give name and phone of another manager over the supervisors.

Nether mangers called back as requested to either me or the Hope gal but I reached manager #1 and he turned out to be for the wrong team.

Than I finally got hold of Manger #2 who is on "my team" and is the first person I have had any confidence in that knows what she is talking about and can actually get something done!

Obviously it should not be this hard! I have been exhaused and about to give up in my now 7 month battle of nothing done and misinformation but hopefully at least the sale issue is taken care of.

I still need to get to the permanent mod but at least paperwork in theory is coming (as it has been promised about 12 times before). I was given a "solution" at NACA Phoenix STD which was virtually the same as the mod I am on. Have submitted paperwork 3 times in various forms but realize will have to redo most again when I get the "paperwork"

Been 8 Months here with Citi, and nothing at all but one Balloon payment offer I declined, went to NACA and do not even get an email or phone reply from the negotiator they assigned to me..?? So I just try to keep making normal payment and pray I can get alittle help to get us some FOOD
