NACA presented to Citi - - reduction in my interest rate, set up escrow for my property taxes and home insurance and to put the past due payments on the back end of the loan. With all the chaos of getting the Obama plan up and running, my request fell through the cracks. I had to put up the heat, so I had to make numerous telephone calls and was informed that I had to get court approval to even have my loan considered for loan modification. I acquired the Order from the judge, and was told over the phone that I qualified for the HAMP program, which they offered me, I asked if this was through NACA and was erroneously told that this is with the NACA program. I signed up for it on the contingency that I go through the trial period plan. I will be making my final payment soon and wanted to get some feed back on the type of offers that were made by Citi for the HAMP program with an active CK 13. Did some of you get offers that were comfortable, barely get-by offers, or offers that were higher than your original payments? In the event the offer is too high are you able to re-negotiate thru NACA for better rates and terms? Last edited by secondchance2; 10-12-2009 at 07:16 PM..
