New here--- lots of great information, am wondering about the hardship letter with Citi bank--- we are not late in any mortgage payments as of today, I work on commission only ( insurance) and my income has reduced this year to only about $18,000- my husband is a co-borrower and his income is higher- about $6000.00 monthly and we own a three falt with rental income- we got into a boad situation with an investment property that sold at a loss in 2007 after a year on the market ( I have not put that in the letter) at the same time I had to have two operations ( with a $5000.00 deductible) plus out of pocket medical, began to use my charge cards for living expenses etc. So we depleted our savings over the past several years, my income is still way down and have been looking for a job in an other industry- our mortgage is $509,000 interest only ( another bad move) with no principal due for another two plus years have worked on the home owner tool box web site and according to that our chance is 95% however am a little stuck on the hardship letter any help would be great
