Update on Citibank and Mortgage Outreach Services

Citibank needs to figure out their system and stick to it. My loan mod was outsourced to Mortgage Outreach Services in July (MOS). I spent hours on hold with them this summer. Apparently, Citibank has terminated their contract with them so if you have any contacts at MOS. They are probably gone now.

I guess I can't understand why Citi can't come up with a better system. This is a mess and it has to be affecting their overhead and service. Citi if you read this, please get it together. It's unfair to put your costumers, who are already very upset about their situation, through these changes. It's almost cruel.

Hear Hear! Citimortgage is a mess. You can get a multitude of answers from them, seems depending upon time of day and stage of the moon. And they can tell you the wrong thing and have no repercussions.

Re: Update on Citibank and Mortgage Outreach Services

I thought everything was going well with Citi... the online form was easy to do, and they were communicative about where we were in the process. They told me they were expecting a home value info on June 22, then called and told me it would be another 10 days. Then I get a letter in the mail saying my mod req was closed due to me not providing requested info??

So I called 4x today & spoke to 5 different people, and was cut off 3x, and given 5 different stories. Apparently the outsourced people were cut so my case just stalled out and now they claim they can't see the details of what I submitted so I have to start again from scratch! They can see that they mailed me a letter on May 18 stating that my file was complete, but they can't see the stuff I sent? I am absolutely LIVID.

I am having a baby next week, and am on bedrest, and I was originally told this would be resolved by end of June, then July, then Aug 8, now this BS?! I had such high hopes for Citi bc the process seemed so much better than what other companies were putting their people thru. (sigh)

It's the weekend now, but do you think if I call the loansafe contacts on Monday, I can avoid having to start from square one?

Even if you are starting from square 1, you should actually be finally on the right track in the right direction.

Give them a call (maybe you already have) and let us know how it goes.
