Approved! Just like they said! - Loan Modification Forum

4 months ago I reluctantly entered into a temporary forebearance plan believing that at the end Citi would permanantly modify my Fannie Mae loan. I was not behind when I began this process but was going to be soon if they did not assist me due to some medical expenses. After wondering and doubing for the last few months I received the call today. I am approved for a Interest reduction of 2% for the next year then 1% deduction for the year after that. The 3rd year goes back to 6.375 for the remainder. They also changed my terms to 40 years. Now I just need to sign and notorize and its a done deal. Thank God! It may not be the best modification but its good enough to save me.

Hi miko12466 congratulations!!

You are one of few who have completed the forbearance and recieved a modification so far under fannie!

We are still waiting on many loans to be approved...

I don't know what i did that would have caused my success other than i met the qualifications.
