I was offered a HAM program through Citi and was approved on June 25th verbally. I was told to wait for my paperwork to send in the first trial payment. I have called every week since then wonding where the paperwork is. Everyone tells me it is on its way. I've now recieved forclosure paperwork with a court date set for August 17 and I have tried to call all the numbers I have to find out what is going on with my account with citi. I sit on hold for 15 minutes, then a voice comes on and says they are experienceing High Call Volumes and then I am hung up on. I don't want to lose my home. I need help!! No one is answering any phone I call. |

I finally got through to someone in the Loss Mit department, and was told that I haven't received the paperwork because the Mod I was approved for didn't work with my loan. I was told I now have to work with the Lawyer to try to get the Mod. I don't know what else to do, the court date is in 12 days, and I am so frustrated. I have notes of 2 months worth of calls that I have made where everyone told me I was approved. Where can I turn now? I was told my loan type worked before, but now I'm told it won't work because I have an FHA loan, I know the HAM program wouldn't work for the FHA, but didn't really know the specifics of my own loan and thought all these people I talked to at the Citi Mortgage knew what they were talking about. Do I have any hope now? |

I would have to suggest as of right now since getting very close to a sale that you consult with a reputable loan mod attorney in your state, to see if they can postpone the sale and help you achieve the modification your looking for..
