I have contacted our attorney I have contacted our Ch 13 trustee Appreciate all the helpful information everyone has passed on and wanting to see if there are any other options I could pursue. I spoke to Segu at Citi Mortgage. He was very helpful and has been working diligently to get a solution. I turned in all my information and I did qualify for Loan Assistance. The difficulty was that I am in Ch 13, my house is not included, and I had not been late in payments. My application was stopped in the loan modification dept even though I qualified and then routed to the bankruptcy department. I had done all the legwork and spoken to our Ch 13 trustee, and they said that they would review and be glad to accept a modification for my mortgage within 10 days of receit to help. the answer came back from Citi Mortgage, that they are not willing to help at this time. My conclusions are that they are not interested in helping unless they have to. I have worked for over 1 month with their Customer Rep Segu and would recommend him to any institution that has need of a diligent and very concerned representative. I could not have asked for better Rep. His number is 866-255-3901 His extsion is 52112 Any company would do well to keep him on staff. In my first contact with Citi Mortgage Banckruptcy I talked to an abrupt lady who said that they only way that Citi would help was if they got a court order from Banckruptcy Judge. and at the end of doing all the work upfront for the last several months, and removing any obstacles they were not willing to attempt to provide a solution. Has anyone else have any advise that I could look into. thanks |
