Citi Credit Cards 29.99% for everyone... - Loan Modification Forum

I know we are on a loan forum but just rec'd a letter from Citi that all CC will now be 29.99% for everyone. They are saying due to economic conditions they must raise rates on everyone.

I just closed my account with them 3 weeks ago after they dropped my $25,000.00 credit line to $3200.00. After being with them for 9 years and never missing a payment and having 7.9% interest.

I also paid them off since I am not making a house payment at the moment with chase...

Wow thank you for sharing this information with everyone here. A 29.99% interest rate is just plain insane!!
