Hello, I am new to the forum and wondering if anyone has had success working with Citi mortgage on a loan modification when you are current on payments. We have a first and a second mortgage with Citi totaling $500,000, since we relocated with a job transfer. Unfortunately, the cost of living here in CO is higher than MO, and we are struggling to stay current. We are hopeful that they will work with us before we are too far in the hole. Also, we faxed the paper work to Citi today and I called to verify they have received it, and they have. What is my next step, just to call twice a week to check on the status? Thanks for any info you can provide. |
