Talking Please Help - Denied by Citi

fficeffice" />>>
Currently I have 2 mortgages for the house which I bought in 2004 for 350000. Current CitiMortgage Balance: $259000 ( 5 year ARM @ 5.1%, schedule to reset 08/09) and Chase Home Equity line of Credit Balance: 89000. House was apprised $320000 last month. I started the home affordable home refinance with Citi in May, 09 and last week Citi declined the application because apprised value does not support request loan amount. When I called Citi today, they said, even though my mortgage is backed by Fannie Mae, the electronic data Fannie Mae sent to Citi is missing some codes which made me ineligible. I called Fannie Mae tier 2 supports to see if I am eligible for this HAR program and they said they will get to me in 2 weeks. I am current with my payments and never missed any payments and my credit score is pretty good. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do. Can a lawyer or mortgage specialist help me? Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.>>

Thanks,
Anwar

Re: Please Help - Denied by Citi

at first I would have disagreed with you sillyworld, however being approx. 5 1/2 months into this process and the 6 pages of notes i have taken with the various citi cronies if given the opportunity to start over i probably would go with a third party hud group....

Re: Please Help - Denied by Citi

Hi Moe,Thanks for your quick response. I will contact NACA soon. I have called Citi many times and they said they won't be able to help me this time. Is there any way find out from Fannie if I am eligible for HAR or not? Can the Citi executive team help me on this? Which contact info you are talking about? NACA or Citi?

Thanks,
Anwar
