We are continuing to get calls and letters from collections. I have been in daily contact with Andre Farmer who tells me that my modification is fine and they are just trying to get it "booked". I feel like I am getting the run around and not sure who to call. Andre's supervisor Ms. Irving never answers her phone or returns calls. |

Collections is a different department and is like a machine. Loss mitigation is there to help more than just get your money. Andre is there to solve problems, but since they are inundated with loan modifications, it takes time. Collections may keep calling until this is all done because you owe them a debt and that department is trying to get their money daily en mass. Sometimes they are able to reach homeowners and get the money that is technically owed to them outside of loss mitigation. With so few homeowners paying, they need that money to keep in business. I believe Andre is telling the truth and just stay on top of this like you have been. Write and document everything. You should be done with this very soon.
