I just got off the phone with Hector at Citimortgage.
Back in April I was put on some type of modification.
Just I never received any paper work like I was told.
When I called them to make the payment I was told I no longer qualified.
But they would not say why.
At this time I have about 2900 dollars a month income.
Which should come out to about a 900 a month payment in the HAMP program.
We are talking about a 260 reduction in payments.
Now they tell me they can not get to that amount with the HAMP program.
Well I checked and if my mortgage rate dropped to 2 percent my payment would be 840 with impounds and no extra years added on.
And no reduced principal.
I think they actual do not want to implement the HAMP program.

This is true they just wnat us all to Walk, they gain especialy if you have equity in your home

I have been given the major run-around and depending on who I speak to, one rep will tell me I qualify and then the next rep will tell me I do not qualify. Under the HAMP program, I do qualify. They even have a note in their system to have me redirect to a different group. When they transferred me to the different group, they asked why am I speaking to them.

Citimortgage basically is telling me to sale my home, since they will make more money from me selling my home than to help me with modifying my home.

I live in a county that is now up to about 17 percent unemployment and it is still getting worse. My house might sell for about for 40K less then what is owned on it.
Plus another 18K on a second. Just with a family and all I really do not want to start renting again.

Unfortunatly this is what I may be facing, I skipped Citi after there run run runarounds and went NACA lets see if they can do anything, other than short sale, or reposses..
