| Re: Chase mod - Story so far I think it is individual by negotiator. I have done both ways. Problem with email is you do not get verification/receipt that it was received. I suggest anything sent via email should also be send via snail mail. |

| Re: Chase mod - Story so far rollertom, thanks for the on-line fax info as I am thinking about cutting off land lines. The purpose of a fax transmission verification sheet is so you have a legal record they received it. I dont know if this on-line service sends you such a verification and whether it is submissible in a court of law. This is why I suggest snail mail (registered preferred) to confirm receipt. If you verify over the phone verbally, you cannot prove it, if they later claim they never received it. |

| Re: Chase mod - Story so far Well from what I am reading Ginnie Mae does not like to mod loans. I am hoping this is false. Also, got a call back from the analyst (I called to make sure she received fax) She said that the number I faxed it to was another person that and they are reviewing the items I sent and she will give me a call when they finish. |

| Re: Chase mod - Story so far Just an update.... I called the analyst today. She said she received the fax and they are reviewing everything to make sure nothing else is needed. She said that this used to be within a day but it is now taking about a week to review the files when they receive them. |

| Re: Chase mod - Story so far GinnieMae isn't the one that would be approving a modification.........it would be FHA...............the only thing that Ginnie Mae does is guarantee investors the timely payment of principal and interest on MBS backed by federally insured or guaranteed loans, in your case FHA.

| Re: Chase mod - Story so far Ok, is this normal?...... I called Monday and left a msg for a call, called Tuesday left msg for a call and just a few min ago I called and left another msg for a call back so I could get an update. I have received NOTHING back from my Analyst! Do these people not return calls? Is there someone else I can call to report that I am not getting any help from my analyst or am I stuck? I usually only have time to call after work and I am sure she is gone but I told her all three times if I am not home leave a msg please. |

He wrote her and the managers while I was on the phone with him, an email for her to call me back and that I have left 3 msg. for her so far with no call back. | Re: Chase mod - Story so far Now its Friday, I have received NO CALL from my analyst. I just tried calling her direct again and it went to voicemail so I left another msg. (which now makes 4 in 2 weeks) This is just sad and does NOT give a good name for Chase. There is NO REASON why they cant take 30 sec. to return a call. This may be the first month I may be late paying as it is due on the 15th and I don't get paid until 17th. I guess the only way to get ANY reply from them is to stop making payments.. I am making all credit card and housing payments on time up to this point (barely) I sell items on the side just to buy food and items we need but this is all ending fast. |

| Re: Chase mod - Story so far The Analyst just called and talked to my wife. She said she was in a lot of meetings and has not had time to call people back. She said she should know something the better half of next week, so if I dont hear anything by Thursday I will call her back. I just dont know what information she will have.... A mod could not happen this fast I don't believe, it will only be 4 weeks at the end of next week.... Could it? |

| Re: Chase mod - Story so far No calls so I called analyst today.... She told me that the other analyst reviewing and reading terms has not got back to her so she was going to email him for an update. She also said what Chase is currently doing is a 3 month forbearance then roll it into a modification. So now I wait to see if I get a call back with an update. If not i will call again next week. Even a forbearance right now would be nice, I am not paying my other bills fully just to make the mortgage payments.... I would like to get everything caught up.. |

| Re: Chase mod - Story so far More updates... April 13th, left msg, no call back April 14th, left msg, no call back April 15th, Called and she answered! She had 2 questions from the Analyst handling the actual mod. How much I could contribute and if there is anything wrong with the house.. House is only 8 months old! Also she NOW sayds the analyst only has 4 of the 40 pages I faxed?? It took 30 days to figure this out? This is horrible service! April 17th Emailed twice for update then after 2nd asked for loan # April 20th Emailed and called/left msg, No return call or email. |

| Re: Chase mod - Story so far Make sure that you write your loan number on each and every page...........it also helps if you number them in a corner so that you can reference what pages they are missing. I used to call for an update on Thursday mornings............that was usually a good time to get through.................and not much really changes from day to day.
