Update: Just an FYI to all of you who paid your 3rd trial pmt. Today I called the 800 #, home retention team, that came in my Fedex pkg, to get a status. I was told that my 3 pmts are showing received, paid as agreed, and that all looks fine on their end. The man I spoke to said that before the month ends, I should be receiving a final Fedex pkg, with my modification terms, along with a new pmt date. He said that if I don't receive the pkg by next week, to give them a call back. I asked him if he can "see" my terms yet, he said it has not been updated. So, if i do not see a Fedex by next Thursday, I plan to call the same # back. I also do not plan to make a payment #4, until I receive this Fedex pkg with final terms. Reason being, if I pay the August payment, and they send me a Fedex with terms that do not start until say for example Sept or Oct, then I have wasted that money. Also, if the whole ball of wax is denied, then that is still a wasted pmt......"on my terms"! Anyway, just wanted to let you know, that is where I stand for now. Also, earlier today at lunch I called the # of the lady at executive resolution, assigned to me. Left her a VM, that seems to be all I ever get from exec resolution.......VM.

Update: I continue to check with the 800# that came in my fedex pkg. They have said pmts received, continue, should happen shortly yada, yada.

As for Exec resolution team lady, she had some info that a pmt was missed, (NOT), we discussed it, and she said she sees that its there, will escalate the issue and take care of it. Also says (this was prior to my making the 4th pmt) that things are in order. Since that time, that was on 7/23, I have made the 4th pmt after being urged to by her, never heard from her again, left reapeated calls and messages, even had a rep on the phone sitting accross the aisle from her, they put me on hold, sent her an email, came back to the phone and said she is busy on her line and will call me back, that has happened a few times in the course of the past few weeks, so she is supposedly aware, but refuses to leave me at least a vm as to what is up.

Fast forward to Monday of this week, I get a notice of intent to foreclose in the mail, said pay up in 32 days or they will continue on the path of foreclosure with no other notices to me. I called the # on the letter, got collections, explained the entire mess, and they say, just continue doing what you are doing, its a computer generated letter.......RIGHT! I am about as comfortable with that as I am with a sharp stick in my eye. Anyone else getting these intent notices after 3/4 payments???? If so, what have YOU been told?

Evan, do you know of a person at Chase I can get to at this point? No help from exec resolution, no agreement, intent to foreclose, after 4 trial payments, what now??? I am not about to just continue as I have been, as suggested by collections, then get kicked out of here in 32 days????? What, or shall I say who, can I get help from ????????

Call the Office of the President and ask for the name of your ET's supervisor. After my letter to Mr. Dimon, I was assigned an ET rep who appeared very helpful at the beginning, but then suddenly stopped returning calls. I asked for her supervisor and I am now only dealing with her supervisor.

I suggest you file a complaint with the TARP people (via fax in writing) since this is a HAMP trial mod.(If it is also fannie mae or freddie mac, write and call them too) The fact that lady wouldnt call you back sounds suspicious. They really are not supposed to be doing all this while on the HAMP trial program. It seems like a typical lender issue, one hand doesnt know what the other hand is doing. But one hand needs to stop the other hand at this point. I wouldnt trust anything they say unless it is in writing. You might be getting a final package in the next weeks to come and then you can fax to the "other" hand so they will back down and it will all be over. Its hard to say what these people are doing. About the only thing that is predictable, is that the are incompetent and they lie.Good luck Calli, I hope this is over for you soon.

Update for today: Called my Exec Resolution Team lady, only to get the same thing today, shes on her line, can you hold? Right. I then called loss mit.......explained the whole ball of wax to that guy. He said he would fax over some info somewhere, to someone, to get me out of the computer generated foreclosure loop. He also said that he believes that by doing this it may help me get my "elusive" final pkg either this month, or next.......well, he was so nice and helpful, I had to commend that, as nothing else has happened lately. So, guess I will keep waiting, watching my mail, wondering. I am just a small bit bitter though, about the folks who were able to just go to the NACA home save tour, and in 1 day have this all done. I am happy for them, but the idea that all of us are in line behind them now somehow seems askew and unfair. No offense to anyone who did that, just speaking my feelings. Many of us have waited so long, jumped through hoops, and now the 1 day folks are in ahead of us. That could be part of this stalling around too! Just a thought.......oh well, I have to put this all to rest for now, try to enjoy your evening everyone! I will update if the sheriff shows up next month! Peace!

Here is yet more food for thought.....how is it, with people being told about computers updating, amoung umpteen other excuses as to why Chase is unable to give a perm mod after 3/4/5 pmts, that NACA tour people have managed to actually get their mods in 1 day? If those excuses were true, wouldn't the NACA tour people be told the same thing?

Anyone?????? Anyone......

I do think it is quite strange. 1 day and its over. While we wait around for computers to update, system conversions, rising interest rates, yada yada, they get theirs done in 1 day.....I smell a rat......a big one!!

The only other reason I can think the NACA home save people got thru is that NACA and the lender put people in place that day (only) to streamline the process and push it all thru. WHy they cant apply that same "streamline" process to the rest of the people banging on their door is another thing. The local HUD counselor has people he works with at "Chase" and other lenders. They have a developed professional relationship and I think they can get things done much more effiecently that any of us can do on our own. This is just a thought about what might be going on. Like anything in business, its who ya know that can help you to bypass an otherwise lengthy process. It could also be a way to appease NACA folks by processing all these people....lets say a show of good faith? A way to get NACA to back off some? I may be talking out my butt on this but just a thought.

Update: All I can say is WOW, OMG, WTH????? I called the 800 # that came in my Fedex pkg last April to see what they had for an update. Their name has now changed from Home Retention Team to Home Review Team. The gentlemen I spoke to there said they are only reviewing info, and actually have NOTHING to do with Home Retention. I asked him where his "info" goes to, he said Chase. They are just recorders to see if you made and met the qualifications of the HAMP. Interesting the name change eh??

So, next call I called the # I had, from just last week, for the Loss Mit Dept. I GOT Collections. And after speaking with a snippy young rep, that kept saying louder and louder, you need to do this, then we assign a rep, then this, then that. I explained to her I have jumped thorough all those hoops, and still NOTHING. She proceeded on the you owe us $$ crap, I asked for Loss Mit transfer, since that is who I thought I was calling. She acted to transfer, but she never did, just f'd with the phone and left an open line.......

So, I called back collections again, spoke to another guy, nicer, but he gave me that bogus # for loss mit that is inoperable, once it clicks in. I have reported that # but apparently this is the "Chase", no pun intended, that they want us to be on. I did however while I had miss snippy on the line, inform her that I am contacting TARP, My Congressman, the BBB, and Jaime Dimon. I told her she should document exactly that on my account.

So, now we have depts changing their names and shirking responsibility, a phone that was loss mit just last week is now collections this week, also, the Loss Mit # I am quoted by collections is the same bogus # I was quoted several weeks ago, call and it never takes you to a person, just a funky recording, then a hang up........the term shell game comes to mind.........I am really pissed at all this, and simply cannot believe this comedy of errors. OMG!!! Thanks for the vent, I have lots of letters and phonecalls to make, Pronto!!

First, I'll make you sick to your stomach. We HAD a mod from Chase on our first mortgage sent at the end of last September at the same time as the mod on our second mortgage. I called the day I got the mod for the second mortgage and was told the first was approved but NOTHING had been sent out yet and to keep a lookout. I called in October to check, and I was told that we'd never responded to the modification for the first mortgage. So, they rescinded it. Turns out, Chase had it FedEx'd to the wrong street address. Know what we were told? Too bad, so sad.

Anyway, we're currently battling from that angle.

Second, the number I've been calling for Loss Mitigation/Foreclosure (which is where I think you'd want to call now?) is 1-866-316-9218.

Good luck. I think we're all going to need it the more I read on here.

Hi Everyone! I have not posted for a long time, been disgusted, and pretty much going thru what everyone else here is.

To date, I have received 2 separate Fedex pkgs with the "your loan may be at risk" send these docs in. Sent the docs to Colorado. About a month ago, spoke to a guy on the phone that left me a voicmail, stating to fax over a couple of things, the 4506T signed. Did that. Checked the phone number given me to see that they got the stuff.....yes, they got it, keep paying, we are working on it, etc, etc.

Last week, got a phone message......call Chase, we have an "important" msg for you. Called and they guy said "Oh, we just wanted to tell you that we have received your Insurance update." Ok.......the insurance co just sent them a bill to pay. Big deal.

Got another call yesterday, call Chase, we have an "important" msg for you, called last night and the guy could not even see why they called, he did spend some time reading thru the notes, asked me how many pmts I have made toward the trial mod.....I made 6, the 7th one due November. I am currently 3 mos past due, according to their records. He told me he was going to escalate this to his supervisor, who will review it and then in turn forward it on to a negotiator. I asked him if I was in foreclosure, he said no, not as long as you are in a modification trial status. That gave me no comfort, due to what I have read on here. He told me to remember this date, 11-20, and told me that I would be receiving a call within 30 days. Call to deny? Foreclose?

I sent original papers to CT back in March. I have spoken to reps in New York, Florida, Colorado, Columbus. Also Exec Resolution along the way that told me it looks like things are moving along, that was 2 mos ago. No more contact from them, and voicemails left unanswered. Also sent docs via fax to NY per request left on my vm. Mailed docs to Colorado. Guy I talked with last night was in Florida. Who knows what is up.

I have been reading here for awhile now, just digesting the bull. Some days I read this and just get more depressed, and discouraged. It is amazing what is going on. Now I am reading that a few people that have made 4 pmts are getting final docs. Good for them! How that is happening I am clueless. I think Chase had to modify their own employees, friends, and family first. Then the wave of NACA conference folks. Then where the pecking order is from there......lets roll the dice. They probably have a meeting every morning.....ok folks draw a date out of the hat........that is the back date we will work on today........luck of the draw......

Anyone feelin lucky today? Not.

I was thinking about you for the past few weeks....havent seen any update from you......I kinda did the same thing, waiting,,,,waiting,,,,waiting,,,,,,,I was away from 6 the forum for couple of weeks, just to think about something else....

Chase denied me for MHA modification after 6 trial payments and now they tell me that they are looking into see if I qualify for Chase Modification program......so the saga continues...

Kalvin09, thank you for the post. Sorry to hear about the denial, I hope whatever they work out may be much better for you than the mod would have been. I have had to stay away from posting for awhile, this has really stressed me out to the limit. Hardly seems worth all the trouble and anxiety you go thru. I am about to make my 7th pmt, feeling like an idiot for doing it too! I will keep you posted as to what the final outcome is, if there ever is one. Its just the same ol, same ol. I even got another "important message" call yesterday. I know its nothing, so I did not even call. The last guy I spoke to a couple days ago said when something really "important" happens, the caller will identify themselves, and let me know the nature of the call, not the canned message I keep getting, trying to make me feel like something really big has finally come about! Did I win something????? LOL! Have a nice day everyone!

Please help!!!!!!
I was on forbearance for 3 months (May, June, July), and then on 3-month Obama’s plan, last payment was Oct. 3rd, and they are still not ready to make the modification permanent, and told me to make payment #4. In the mean time condo is listed for sale (short sale) and I might have a buyer, but don’t know what to do. If I’ll wait until they’ll review my case and make a decision (which could be easily - “Denied”) I’ll loose the buyer (which is so hard to find), if I don’t wait for the permanent mod and submit purchase contract for the prospective buyer who may not get approved for the price I’ll loose both, the buyer and the loan mod., as the loan mod. will be automatically cancelled, as the Obama’s program is for those that intent to keep their home only, so I was told. What do I do? It’s a torture!fficeffice" />>>

Ram,
Perhaps you should only entertain a "pre qualified" buyer. The banks are really being strict with loans. Tell the buyer to go and get prequalified, then come back. You will also find out if they are really serious. Do not forget about the possible tax ramifications between what is owed, and what it sells for in a short.

How far behind is Chase anyway? I am hearing alot of different things anyone know for sure? Someone said they were up to April is that the reason for extending everyone?
