can you use flma as part of your hardship?

We just sent another RMA packet to chase. When I spoke with them, they said we needed to write another hardship letter. Since they would not take into consideration my husband has lost hours from work for a forebarence, would they take into consideration the flma he's had to use to take care of a disabled child who's been having a lot of medical issues this year? I did send in paperwork that did show he does get flma.

Both should be considered a hardship, I do not see why they would ask you to re-write your hardship letter when many people apply for a loan modification due to lost hours at work (ie loss of income). Maybe it was the way you worded your previous hardship letter and that is why they are asking you to re-do it, but I'm not sure. I would just add that he has been using his flma to help take care of your child and request that your account be assigned to someone else for the review.

I'm pretty sure it was the way I worded my first letter. I forgot to mention about the flma in the first one. We also had to send in copies of reciepts from pay day loans we got because it's listed on our bank statement as a deposit and chase would have counted that as income. Our case is with a new RM.
