    Help - please!!

I posted this yesterday and only got one reply - this is my experience on everything I post.

I'm not even two months late, and today I came home to find a certified mail notice and a Notice of Intent from Chase. I've asked this before and got no replies. Could someone PLEASE tell me (especially if you live in PA) what your experience is/was in this process? If not in PA, then any state if you have a Chase modification in process.

    Thanks.

Maybe you have to be in really dire straits to get advice, but I'm getting panicky. Mod is still in underwriting, have no idea what they are going to do. I get no info from Chase like some posters here do. I cannot lose my home. I'm in this all by myself, no one here to help out.

LS and HUD both said I should have no problem getting the mod.

What should I do if UW doesn't come up with an answer before the 30 days to pay up go by?

    Hello Brady,

I'm very sorry nobody was able to get back to you yesterday. I would definitely not be worried about the Notice of Intent (NOI) letter you have received because this does not mean foreclosure proceedings have begun and it a standard letter they send out to any borrower who is behind on payments. It is basically just stating the past due amount owed and that they can foreclose on the property later if the account is not brought up to date. I'm assuming it could easily be 8-12 months before a sale date is set in PA..

Here are some threads with other members here who have recently walked away from their PA home..
