    Angry Acrued interest

Talked to our rep yesterday, and she told us there was a problem getting infomation about our accrued interest on our loan and the deed. She said that NY state has put a hold on that information. Is there any place I can call to find out if this is the truth???? She said she has a pile of mods on her desk that have the same problem. Thanks for your help, cause I do not understand any of this. Donna

    Hey Donna,

This sounds like BS to me, we have many members here from NY and this is the first time I have heard of such a thing.. Here try contacting the executive's office to see if they can help you out with this.

Hi, I have been out of the loop for awhile, but just wanted to let you know that we got our mod papers signed sealed and delivered about 2 weeks ago. I know its not the best mod, but I just wanted it over and done with, so we could have payments we could afford. We got 4% for the life of the loan. $4000 added to the end of the loan, and 1000 off the principal for the next 5 years for on time payments. No offer of the 2 and 3 percent. Thinking maybe because its a double wide on our own land. Anyways thank you so much for your help, and for everyone out there keep trying. Great advice on this web site, and thanks again. Donna

That is great news Donna I'm so glad to hear you achieved the modification!! Even those who are offered a 2-3% interest rate it is almost never fixed and will adjust to 4-5% for the life of the loan.. At least you won't have to worry about any future adjustments:-)
