We were just denied after 6 months of making our trial period payments on time. Now I have no idea what to do. I don't know what the next step is. For the repayment plan, so i have an extra huge payment to make? Anyone else been through this with a positive outcome?
This is very typical. You need to call and ask to be placed in the in house loan modification program. Many people here have been denied on the trial and then placed in an in house program and ended up getting a loan mod.
Why do you think you were denied? Are your current on the mortgage?

We are not current on our mortgage. plus each time we made the trial payment we get farther back (we are about $23,000 behind). We make below 31%, are house is worth 189,00 we paid 400,000, and my husbands job has slowed down. we are wait to find out why. I think we may have to hire a lawyer.
