HAMP/MHA Chase

I submitted all of my financial information to Chase the first part of January. I guess I should clarify, this is for the HAMP/MHA. As a result of my wife loosing all of her income, we are looking for a decreased payment.
Does anyone know how long I should anticipate before I receive the trial agreement?

Re: HAMP/MHA Chase

Hello mmetters, Submitted paperwork in June of 2009, again in Sept. got a trial mod in Nov, sent paperwork in again Jan 10. April will be my 5th trial payment.
Got a call from Chase last week. Mod is final should receive something from them in 2 weeks, as to terms and such! Hope that helps, but as u can see not all cases are the same.

Welcome and thank you for joining.

You will only receive a trial package if you are approved for the HAMP program. Every modification is done on a case by case basis so it could be anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months before being approved for this..

Thank you. That makes me feel a little better knowing it took about 4 months or so until you received your trial agreement.
Sounds like I will have to practice the art of patience.

You bet! I filed three times for a modification and they lost the paperwork, I also went through the executive dept and got the same run around. I will have to tell you there are folks here that made trial Mod payments more than they originally payed for a year only to be rejected.
Chase is a scamming Bank I put up there with B of A. Looking at the latest news my feelings have been justified, I commented to Dimon Chase I hope you go to Jail and come out without a Dimon your pocket.

Re: HAMP/MHA Chase

Just dont fret if you have a setback or something goes alittle off center. I was for months worried about not hearing anything from them. I called twice a month and just kept sending the paperwork they needed. When you call chase, the person will look into the notes on your case and tell you if they need anything new other than what you sent.
Don't lose faith. I was at the breaking point and all of a sudden I received a notice of exceleration. No notice of default as of yet, but I am 6 mos behind in payments. Chase will not go forward on any foreclosure procedings while you are being evaluated for a hamp. Right after the notice of exceleration came the trial mod, in Nov. It has been a up and down process for me and my house. I just stayed strong and was very determine to stay here.
GOOD LUCK TO YOU.
