RamD- no I'm still in trial. But question - can you share your final figures? Also - there is someone who just posted here with a question on her Chase final docs. There is a paragraph that seems to require them to agree to sign any changes in the mod that may happen at any time or else the mod is null and void. did you have a paragraph like that?

I also received a signed copy back for my permanent. You have to sendf your signed docs to Chase for them to sign then they send the originals back to you. Or at least they sent me the originals back.

Re: anyone received a final mod agreement signed by Chase?

NOPE!!!
I was DENIED HAMP, because they determined that "I didn't need the assistance" and then was DENIED by Chase's in-house modification, because they determined "I didn't make enough to qualify for any of their programs"

GO FIGURE....one says I apparently make enough and the other, that I don't make enough.

Gross: $3800 - Net: $2700
First mortgage: $1837
Second mortgage: $334

Total mortgage payment: $2171

Yah...HAMP is probably right, I can live off about $500.00 month.

I guess I'll just start "hooking", money under the table, that I don't have to claim on taxes. I guess I'll resort to "Plan B".

Re: anyone received a final mod agreement signed by Chase?

It's been almost 2 months and we haven't received anything back from them.
We signed and notarized 2 copies of the agreement and sent them both to Chase via overnight delivery. They have received them.
We keep calling and asking about our copy. THey (the call center......they have no idea what they are talking about) keep saying that if we are supposed to receive a document back, that they are sure we will. It just takes time.

Whatever.

Once Christmas is over we are going to hit it hard and get things squared away with the finalized documents and also our credit report.

My final numbers are:
2% for first 5 years,
Year 6 - 3%,
Year 7 is 4%
Year 8 - 40 is 4.750%.
Original loan is expended to 40 years, with 46,000 deferred principal balance to be paid at the end of the main portion of the loan.

Thanks for your reply. Chase said they sent the docs, but I still didn't receive it. They have no tracking # and don't even know what's in the package, as there is no copy image on the account.
Did you receive yours via Fedex?? Thank you

when you say you are set up in the system for the first payment, which system do you mean? Is it available on On-line banking? Our first modified payment is do on Feb. 1st, as well, but we didn't receive a copy signed by Chase, and new loan is not appearing on On-line banking.

Re: anyone received a final mod agreement signed by Chase?

My husband had called to make they got the paperwork etc. and they said yes and that it was already set up in the regular system. I just checked on line and our payment is due Feb 1.2010...the amount we were told, the interest rate. When we got the perm. mod. papers it included a sheet for automatic draft. We have not received our paperwork signed yet.

That's just 'wrong!'

Isn't anyone monitoring this process?

This basically makes you indentured to them as a financial slave... How is this remotely legal? It's worse than 'any' predatory ARM mortgage could every be...

I'm thinking that after this is all said and done, that we all get together and sue to have this language struck from any and every agreement...

This can't be constitutional.. They have you in a place of vulnerability and then include language that requires you to sign an agreement that says they can change the terms whenever they feel like it?

Where's the clause that says we can do the same?

Unbelievable!

Re: anyone received a final mod agreement signed by Chase?

Anybody who's still waiting on a signed permanent mod after a couple of weeks, please, please please keep after them.

Lighthouse was in this situation and just found out Chase sold her loan to a different servicer before her modification was "complete."

KEEP THE PRESSURE ON!

We can't let them get away with this!

Re: anyone received a final mod agreement signed by Chase?

brass cc
what do u mean "anybody still waiting on a signed mod after a couple weeks"
litehouse never even received her perm mod docs...they never arrived, then she found out they sold the loan...
there are many of us who have not recived perm mod docs signed back to us yet.
i think they told her over the phone she was approved and was never approved in the first place,, now she is being told they sold the loan...this can not be legal,,
iam sorry but how on earth are they getting away with this?
my account is not updated yet with perm mod terms. know one as chase knows anything about getting the signed mod back from chase, i was told chase signed it a week ago but NOT to expect a copy back... also i was told my account would not reflect the new payment until i made my first new perm payment !!when i called my account shows regular payment amount due.. thats my REG payment not even a trial payment amount ... SCARY
or the new perm payment...

Re: anyone received a final mod agreement signed by Chase?

cl, you are right, Lighthouse had not received her papers yet, I stand corrected.

But there is another member of this forum who actually got back a signed copy of modification from the bank (not sure if it was Chase), after which his servicer changed.

His post was rather long ... something to the effect that he won a court judgment against the new servicer to enforce the mod, but the servicer later challenged his right to it, due to some kind of extra self-employment cash flow he could have explained but wasn't permitted to?

I'll check it out more thoroughly tomorrow, but again, it may not have been Chase, and I certainly didn't mean to worry anyone who is waiting for their paperwork.
