The language posted in their accountability campaign, states as follows, "Executives of financial institutions have amassed huge fortunes on the backs of hardworking American families. While living in their many luxurious homes, they have refused to restructure mortgages that would allow families to stay in their homes. We need to make them accountable for their actions. Join the fight." I have been wondering whether it will make a difference in hopefully achieving a positive outcome if I were to send a letter directly to the home of the executive in charge of loan modifications for my lender/servicer detailing my plight and nearly 8 months "state of limbo" in the loan modification process. Several of us on this forum have at one point sent emails to the CEO of Chase with the hope of escalating our files. It is unclear to me whether Mr. Dimon actually reads any of these emails. By sending our correspondence directly to their home address, we may finally get their attention without being screened out by their administrative assistants. Just a thought. I have the address but have not actually decided whether to use it. |

Would really love to have other Chase borrowers weigh in on this.....there may be strength in numbers....we could even start a petition and send it directly to his home......again just a thought.....I really would hate to resort to this "NACA like tactic" as this smacks on some level as "invasion of privacy" and I really do not want to disturb the sanctity of their household. However, nothing about this process makes sense whatsoever....... |

They have disturbed the sanctity of MY household for 10 months now with lies and runarounds. I understand your hesitancy. You are hesitant because you are an ethical person. What is happening to us, however, is unethical. That said, keep ahold of that address. I would not want you to do anything that would increase your stress. Maybe what would be better is to print out a copy of the petition and all the signatures next week and send it to his home and for that matter the home of any and all bank executives who can be secure in their homes setting up for the holidays while we are working feverishly to try to save ours from their land grab.

I did contract with this character and figured out later that he was probably using this high profile man's name to get business and probably had never done any kind of work for him. I researched and found the home address of this high profile person on the internet and sent a handwritten, personal note with my name and phone number explaining to him that this person was using his name to attract business and after this person had done very substandard work for me, it was hard for me to believe that someone who could afford the highest quality would have hired him. This very high profile person received my note and called me. I was really shocked that this multi billionaire person would pick up the phone and call me. He thanked me for letting me know that this unscrupulous person was using his name to get business ...he had never heard of him...and said his attorneys would be contacting this guy. I guess I thought that maybe his personal assistant or someone like that might get the note and refer it to someone who might call me to check it out but never imagined that this man would call me himself. So...I guess it is possible that Jamie Dimon would get the note. I would say that after all these months...ten months now for me too...of not getting answers and getting the runaround from Chase that I am not too concerned about invading Mr. Dimon's privacy. One thing that really irks me is that Chase bought WAMU and all our WAMU loans for pennies on the dollar in September 2008....so why in the heck can't they afford to work with us just a little bit here? Because Chase is GREEDY!! I am behind on my payments partly because I had to pay the IRS a huge chunk of money this year that is probably somehow going to help bail out a bank so some CEO can keep his high falutin' job and his mansion. How does that make sense? All that said...I do not think that Mr. Dimon cares or has any emotion about us losing our homes. He would have done something different by now...it is in his power to change how Chase does modifications - especially on loans like mine that do not have any separate investor to deal with. My concern is that President Obama listens to Jamie Dimon's counsel....I posted that news article several weeks ago....and that is scary! Maybe if someone could get across to Jamie Dimon that he could stand out and be a hero for leading the way in saving American's homes and therefore save America's economy and future generations would remember him, honor him...get the picture?...maybe if someone could appeal to him on that level..he could go down in history for leading us out of this foreclosure crisis...there has to be something in it for him that is worth more than how much money Chase can squeeze out of us to get them to change the way they are doing things! |
