Finally got my mod approval after 7 months on the Trial - Loan Modification Forum

I did find out today that we have been approved for the MHA mod via phone. The details of the terms were not available yet. I should have the paperwork within 10 days. (we shall see if this is the true timeline).

ok, today. i get a call from a realtor to do another interior BPO. What was wrong with the one they did 3 weeks ago? They said they needed in a hurry too.

Apparently, my paperwork went out yesterday although the bpo wasnt done till 4:30pm. the rep said she didnt see an order for a bpo.

our terms are interest only for the first 5 years. (we will be sending extra for principle each month)

years 1 - 5 2.175 (1313.00 payment includes interest only and escrow)
year 6 -8 3.175
year 9 - 10 4.175
year 11 - 40 5.0 (principle & interest)

will have more details when paperwork will come.

Thank you Evan, it is a much better modification that what we offered 1 year ago. It was worth the fight and worry. I pray others get a workable plan too.
