Are there any new programs to be offered going forward? - Loan Modification Forum

Are there any new programs(in house or otherwise) to be offered going forward? It seems there are some rumblings and speculations but I can't find anything out for sure? Has anyone heard of anything? I spoke to a chase rep yesterday who called in response to an email I sent about a month ago I was trying to find out a status update........anyway long story short I spoke to him for a few minutes he was from the Executive Res team.....he told me nothing new on mine it had not even been worked yet..he said they had 50k applications in que to be worked and basically they were waiting for new software from the govt...he said the rules keep changing and some software they are suppose to be getting will help. I told him I spoke to someone who told me I was extended to jan 2010 that would be 6 months if it goes that long but he said it may be longer.He said someone would contact me to update when it was time......has anyone else heard something like this?

i have been told many things but when i got my weekly call from loss mit 2 weeks ago
yes he calls me every 1- 1 1/2 weeks to check in!! i know strange, i always so tense when he calls !!!
he said could take up to 7 months,,,,,,,,ive just make my 3rd trial payment......

Thats exactly what I was told that it would probably go beyond 6 months........Gives me a little more time to try and pay some stuff down.......

Are these under HAMP that are going beyond 6 months? HAMP issued a streamlined directive for those in process and new to get decisions through to the borrower. I only ask because you need to be careful that the lender isn't squeezing every nickel out of you and need 6 months to catch up on their foreclosures. 6 months later the foreclosure department is ready to work on your loan and you have fallen further behind because they tricked you into thinking it would take 6 months waiting for a mod determinations. Just be careful.

yes under hamp they are waiting on new software from the govt i was told by a executive res team member and they have over 50k in que to be worked.........they are behind
