What happens next??

Just curious, those of you who are way ahead of me in this process. Once you actually receive the documents for a final mod, what happens next?
You sign them and send them back...sometimes with your first payment. But then what. Does that automatically seal the deal? Do you have to keep badgering Chase in order to get things correct in their computer? Or is that the end of the line and you are well on your way to living a normal life.

Anyone been there done that? Or anyone heard how it all goes down?

As long as the lender receives the paperwork back and signed on time, your journey is complete..
