Got another "Your modification is at risk" Fed-Ex.

Second one since 10-15. I can't spend 2 hours doing this all over again.

There is no reason you should have to fill it out again. I believe most of the time they are just automatically sent out to borrowers..

smit,

i was told they send them out automatically to everyone who is in a trial modification. The rep says it keeps the line of communication open. They are just making sure we call them consistently because they are poor at outbound calls.

I got one last week and just printed out the fed ex tracking showing it was received today and who signed for it...for my records......also faxed the same documents so they got them twice........they have to be buried in paperwork by now with all the copies............

Re: Got another "Your modification is at risk" Fed-Ex.

Just resend the one you sent before if it's the same-MAKE SURE YOU KEEP proof that you sent it with solid date/times. KEEP GOOD RECORDS and TIMELINES. This is what attorneys always ask for, and it makes it easier if you have been doing this all along, rather than having to go back an reconstruct. I keep a notebook for EACH party I am dealing with in this huge mess. When I am dealing with them, I have their notebook in front of me and add pages for notes/dates/times and NAME of person I am speaking to.

Sometimes it's helpful to create a blank "form" and make copies of it to use as a note taking template:
Date:
Time:
Number dialed:
Person Spoken With:
Notes:

I also keep a digital version on my computer with a file for each party on my hard drive. I scan in notes and save them by date, and also scan in every document I receive from them, statements, notices, "Scare notices", etc.

One more thing I do, is I record every conversation I have on my phone (I use my mobile phone for everything because it keeps good records). There is very cheap/free software that you can download that records EVERY phone call automatically. I just delete the personal ones, and file the ones with banksters in their file on my computer.

This might help you. That way it's all in the vault, you never know what you might end up needing.
