Does anyone remember this taking place with your modification process? I was told the underwriter has made her recommendations and my file is now being audited for errors and awaiting managment approval.

Hey EG, I was told the same thing this week. They said that my modification was approved and the last step is management review. She said it will go quickly now. They gave me no indication of any terms or anything like that....so I am curious what they have come up with.

She told me to call back weekly as they are not good about prioritizing their out bound calls....I had to laugh!

I have been working on this since Jan 09...so you have been waiting longer.

Are you current on your mortgage??

no, i wasnt current with my mortgage at the time. I stopped paying Nov 2007 and didnt start a trial payment till May 2009. The guy couldnt tell me if I was approved or not, so I think i will call and see what a different person can tell me.

Oh for sure...if you don't like what one rep told you....just call back since you get a different answer EVERY TIME!! Its amazing.
