I got offered the 3 month trial period as of Oct 1st. Then on Oct 8th they put my home in foreclosure. How they can do this after the trial has been offered is still unclear. I found out that I was offered the 3 month trial because I don't qualify for the loan modification with the numbers I gave them. They asked for all this paperwork of income proof to be sent in to show that...I don't qualify. They need that info for their paperwork. This trial period has nothing to do with getting a loan modification, it is to get me to make any payment from for the next three months. For them to recoup any funds that they can. They say that the foreclosure is suspended while I'm in the trial, to start after they log in my paperwork. They got my paperwork via FedEx and will not expect to have paperwork logged in for another two weeks...because they are backed up. Besides that, a suspended foreclosure means Nothing! In CA we get 90 days for foreclosure. The 90 day count down does not stop whether or not there is a suspension. I was also told that the amount I'm paying on the trial period would not be the loan modification amount if I were to be approved. She also said that because I'm unemployed I probably wouldn't be approved either...whether or not I made my trial payments on time in full. What gives me hope...other people on this site getting their loan modifications. She (at Chase) said in the end, probably because she felt bad for me or just wanted to get rid of me, that the paperwork was to show that I needed the modification. They will be reviewing the paperwork when they get it and I'm to call next week. I'll be calling Chase every two days. I'll be calling Hope Now per suggestion from another on this site. I might even get a @!x!# job to show some income for the time being. |
