Received Fed Ex Today

I received a FED EX today one of the growing number receiving the infamous "YOUR MODIFCATION IN JEPERODY" PACKETS THIS AFTER RESPONDING TO LETTER WITH REQUESTS LAST WEEK. jUST CALLED YESTERDAY for the hundredth time and of coarse they say oh we have everything........what the hell is it that they are doing with all the documents they request the same over and over and over??? I mean really and they are suppose to be a major corperation? Now it says 4 banks statements??? And they sent me 4 additional coupons.. I am getting ready to make my 4th trial payment....this clearly will be strung into next year when all is said and done.......and while I am venting I am getting sick and tired of reading all these news articles taking the banks side as the banks makes us out to be wanting something for nothng telling the media the problem is the applicants don't return the request documents...the hell we don't we have returned them so many times I am loosing count..why does the media focus on the inefficent banks stringing us along...with no end in sight..I never see any mention of that......what are they doing with all the documents???????And if they are not even processing our cases what do they need the documents for? It seems to me they are getting alot of personal inforamtion that has account numbers and social security numbers and the like and they can't even keep track of our paperwork...Are we risking our idenities, can they be trusted.......sorry for ranting I had to vent and get this out of my system or I won't sleep tonight.....when are we going to see some substantial perm mods??????????????? Soon I hope or when hell freezes over.........

I spoke to someone today and told me that mass mailing went out by mistake this week and to disreguard them. I didn't get one but that is what she told just incase if I did get one.

HANG in there, we are all going through the same thing with these stupid trial payments!

You should post in your original thread and continue there instead of starting a new one every time. Your chances of getting useful information is better that way.

Got mine on Saturday , no Fed Ex . Just some guy dropping it off , I don't know who he was . Called Chase and they said that they needed undated info. , but they were missing some things . Told to send everything in and to make 4th payment due Nov. 1 and plan on making Dec. and Jan. also . They are running behind , I was told .

But can you trust the information you get on the phone thats the question...While one person may say disreguard another may say send it anyway...And if you don't send it as instructed they could use that as the reason to deny you...I won't give the bastards the satisfaction......mass mailing or not.....it seems to me they have alot of that they need to get it together.......

No kidding, it seems like they are wasting a lot of manpower processing all of these redundant documents. Every time I get something I send in everything on the list just to cover myself. The last thing i want to hear is that I didn't send in paperwork. One of the letter i got says if you don't return this in 10 business days you won't be considered and you won't get anymore correspondence, you can be sure I am calling several times to confirm receipt by more than one representative!

Chanly..........I got the same letter last week from the homesowners assistance dept giving me 10 days from the date on the letter it was dated Oct 5th I got it on the 14 of Oct called them he said well do you have access to a fax lucily I did or my 10 days was up..but it was for stuff he confirmed they already had.......but as I stated before I won't give them the satisfaction of saying I didn't send it in..again..and again...

i was told they send these fedex request out routinely to all people in the trial payment plan whether you have all of your docs in or not. They said this is done automatically and designed to make sure we are constantly calling them to check on our status. I was told that since all of my stuff was in I can ignore the fedex. They are just form letters they send to everyone.

I confirm my status by calling several times and speaking to different reps to see if the information is consistent.

I received this package in August after my 3rd trial payment. I had to resend everything including utility bill and statements for auto and home loans. I faxed and sent it overnight signature requested. I was told to keep making payments. I made 5 was going to make 6th this week. Then fedex showed up at my door yesterday with permanent mod papers. I had no clue they were coming. Nobody told me anything. I would send them what ever they ask for. Don't give them any excuse. You never know. Good luck to you.

chevy56... congratulations to you what a pleasent surprize that must have been for you....so you had no knowledge that didn't even hint you were in the final stages? You know that is reall a blessing in disguise because then you don't sit and worry about the underwriter whats he or she thinking or doing.....I think I would prefer it the way it happened to you...just send the final mod..surprize me...........were you able to get the terms you had hoped for?

I just got a second "modification is at risk" fedex package, 2nd in 2 weeks, in addition to the financial information paperwork. I'll call again today and see if any change to my file...

litehouse01... After I sent back the packet Syvette called and left a voice mail to call her. I returned her call and she said she was calling to see if I sent the papers in. Then she said I see you did send them and It has already been transferred to Jessica. She couldn't tell me any more. She said if Jessica needs anything Jessica call me. Nothing from her after leaving several messages. Believe me I did worry. the not knowing is the hard part. The terms are 6.25% which is 31% of our income and is fixed for the remainder of our loan.
