Today I get a call from Chase wondering where the hell my October payment is. Of course it was mailed a while ago but with the holiday this week I dont expect them to get it until tomorrow. I asked why are you calling when technically its not past due until after the 15th, I also asked if she was calling to make sure the payment was made so they can make their determination for final approval. She said she was going to have to hang up the phone because I was being hostile. And she hung up on me. WTF??? Why would they call when the payment is not even past due? |

Even though they say the 15th is the date it is due, they will tell you oh no it is due the first - or whatever. No one is stopping them from doing anything they want to. I hope you got this person's phone number? was it the one that has the "8937" as the last four digits? That's collections, and they don't know anything other than they believe you are late and they need to get your money. If you have another number you usually call, try them. You also might try the exec team. They are generally just go-betweens but usually nice on the phone. Here's a number to try: 800-242-7399. Good luck. |
