I have actually seen quite a few people with more than one hardship.

What type of hardships are you talking about?

Re: Anyone have more than one hardship?

well, i mean this all started from one hardship that was a medical issuse back in 2008
just before that my orig payment went up 500.00 cause of an escrow shortage
been paying that for almost 2 years

went through a separation,
only had one of my rentals rented for half a year last year
and lost a roommate this year
and my job cut my hours

Wow that is a lot of struggles you are facing. When you calculate all of your monthly income and expenses what are you left with?

Re: Anyone have more than one hardship?

well thats the thing for hamp they said they use only 75% of rental income
if thats true with that and my work ..paying the increased payment of mortgage
it would be like -30.00 with all explences food ect
with my regular payment i would have +450.00

thats at 75% rental income
this is what it comes to with the lost roommate and work cuts

Re: Anyone have more than one hardship?

I wrote down every detail that pertains to a hardship. Loss of income, loss of my bonus due to the economic crisis, loss of potential earnings such as extra hours which were eliminated due to state financial difficulties, and also threw in increased insurance premiums and higher utility bills.

Re: Anyone have more than one hardship?

moe
let me add that without the 25% taken out you can add 1000.00
they asked for gross when they put me on the plan so i gave them gross

but after reading the guideline hamp takes 25% off rental income

so my plan isnt quite right?

so confusing !

Re: Anyone have more than one hardship?

sorry moe
its confusing i know
i will try and simplify it

my payment was 2600 original
excrow shortage 500.00 a month
took it to 3100.00 i had only 2 more months left on that increase

gross income is 5400 with my job and rentals so with this figure
i have surplus of 1020.00 at the 3100.00 payment

hamp says it only counts 75% of gross rental that takes my gross to say 4300 surplus of -100.00 with 3100.00 payment

now that increased payment goes down after 2 more payments
back to 2600.00
so 5400 income( not taking off the 25%) leaves me with 1500.00 surplus
4300.00 with 25% taken off

leaves 400.00 surplus

Re: Anyone have more than one hardship?

On my application every hardship on the list applied to me except for "other reasons", I had a second child, had reduced income, increased expenses, husband was ill, then got divorced, etc. etc. etc.....
