Our question to Chase upon receiving the Trial Mod package: In the Trial Period Cover Letter, on Pages 1 and 2, three times it states that the first payment and signed Trial Period Plan must be received by the Lender no later than 10/18/2009. However on Page 2 of the Home Affordable Modificaiton Trial Plan, it states the first payment and the signed Trial Period Plan must be received by the Lender no later than November 1, 2009. Which date is it??? Why would you need the first payment two weeks before the due date? Please advise CORRECT due date. Their response: Unfortunately, I do not have any control over the dates that WAMU/Chase require the signed agreement and 1st trial payment to be sent. If your agreement states this information needs to be in by 10/18/09, it is up to you whether or not to comply. You will need to speak with your attorney regarding clarification of any questionable matters in the agreement. You received 4 coupons just in case you may have misplaced one or an additional trial payment needs to be made if your permanent loan modification has not been reviewed timely. Our response: WAMU/Chase wrote the letter with conflicting due dates, you work for Chase. If you do not have control over the dates stated in the letter, who does within Chase? Who wrote the letter? Not our attorney, not us. WAMU/Chase did or you attorneys. Please ask your superiors. We do not have money to ask our attorney. And, knowing him the way we do, he would say to ask you. |

If more people caught on to this scam then maybe we all wouldn't be in this rat race at all. I told them flat out that if they can't send me some sort of agreement that includes the language of something being guaranteed, and signed by them, then forget it. If one also expects to achieve any results you will have to throw your credit score to the wind. Period. I know what Obama was saying, but seems people actually believe that there is help available. There is not. Its obvious. Play hardball with these banks and you might see results. OR end up in a rental for half the amount of your mortgage in the first place. |

I addressed question #1 in my previous email. All trial plans are done the same way. Although the 1st payment is for 11/01/09, it is due with the signed agreement and other documents requested by the due listed on the agreement (which is 10/18/09). When this payment is received with the signed agreement, it is posted for the 11/01/09 payment. Your next payment (2nd) would not be due until 12/01/09. As mentioned above this is procedures for all loans, not just yours. Thanks!ffice | |

Gosh, they make me so mad sometimes. {still waiting on our documents. supposedly they shipped last Friday via UPS 2nd day air, but oops, no one entered the tracking number. We called our UPS center and they don't have anything in today's freight. obviously they weren't shipped} |

I made my 3 modified payments as required and went on to pay an additonal 2 more payments just to end up being denied due to hardship not being permanent. I wish I had not made the 2 additional payments. I am moving into a rental home and my payments will be half of my mortgage payments. I plan on moving out the first of December, so I'll at least enjoy 2 months of no payments I even consulted with an attorney and he advised me to stop paying and live there as long as I could and to come back and see him when I got the nod. |

They denied my mod after making all three payments on time. Since being denied, the HAMP admin has put me in touch with an upper level exec at Chase. Let's see what transpires!!! I am also waiting to hear from The OCC and my state senator. I am hitting Chase, from every which way!!! |
